Regardless of whether or not this will end up terrible, I salute them for actually tackling this before some of their other post-launch content. Also being free.

I just hope it won't somehow make the situation worse by adding even more questions to the mix.

Funny...they ignored what we wanted. Won't be buying future DLC or games unless it is a change to the ending. They can keep their artistic integrity. I'll be buying DLC for Skyrim...from the company that actually fixes a game when fans want it fixed.

"the team’s artistic vision for the end of this story arc in the Mass Effect universe" is crapp! Simple is that. This "artistic vision" goes against the whole other 99% of the "artwork", it breaks it in a vital spot. You can not make it look good through explanations, it will always be broken.

I hope this is just a hoax, because something like that will not resolve anything.

Cut out the starchild. Who ever had the "artistic vision" of starchild screwed up big time and only shows that he knows nothing about narrative coherence and the Sci-Fi genre conventions. In short: this person would be the Uwe Boll of Mass Effect.

No extra charge? Yeah, sorry but I think they'll probably just add a few more minutes of cutscenes, and the bad endings will remain the same.
