On the other hand, we still have horrible endings that make our choices from previous games and ME3, completely pointless.

Well, some of us do live in the real world and are aware of the fact that it has become completely impossible to "trade in" video games in the last decade.so just trade in the game for something you enjoy and move on with your life.

They will probably cover this at PAX, not like there is much to go on. They may even mention other upcoming DLC and plans for ME in general, whatever those are.Anwarddyn wrote...
For me this is the expected result, not the favorable one. But oh well... I cant think of one Sci-fi story I love, be it game or film, that doesn't have parts I hate.
It does however make me wonder, if this is announced before PAX.. what is the big announcement for ME that was supposed to be revealed at PAX?

I think they said they had an announcement in April and people just assumed it would be at PAX. If not it's probably just Bioware officially stating it (which they haven't done yet, EA has).

Well 'free' for a limited time, yes. The offer expires April 12, 2014.

That actually worries me a bit. This could potentially still have the quality of your typical ME2 dlc (Kasumi, Overlord, etc), but making it free runs the risk that the changes involved will be minimal. Personally, I wouldn't mind throwing down alot more cash if I thought it would give them more resources/incentive to work with.

Even EA/BW are still grasping at straws.

Its free which means the quality and length will not be so good. Most people would have shelled out $10 to get 2-3 hours post ending game play with a 10 minute epilogue that raps up the entire mass effect universe and character.
If it was going to be total garbage, surely they'd be releasing it quicker and earlier so they can get to the proper paid-for DLC.

You can say this, however it doesn't stop everybody crying that they don't have a personal victory and how that ruins their lives or something.

Nicky, its a free download until April of 2014 according to the relase. So you don't have to "buy it."NICKjnp wrote...
Funny...they ignored what we wanted. Won't be buying it unless it is a change to the ending. They can keep their artistic integrity. I'll be buying DLC for Skyrim...from the company that actually fixes a game when fans want it fixed.

Not in the UK it hasn't. You take your game back to the store, and part exchange it. You can't tell me that the majority of ME3 didn't warrant the price anyway.
I just don't see why persist with this if people are so against it. There is plenty of other stuff to do. Life is too short to worry about the ending to a video game lol.
