Real as it may be, and as welcome as it may be, I still feel this talk about "artistic vision" says little more than "cop out". By all means, the developers are welcome to include an ending according to a certain "artistic vision" they may have had, but that must not be a blank check to betray players into forcing them to experience something which was the direct contrary to how they chpose to play the game. Mass Effect has always availed itself to provide an experience to players that reflects the style in which they play. Staying true to its essence and the players expectations of the game does not violate any "artistic visions", it is being consistent, and I believe that is all we as players and fans of Mass Effect could ever ask for. Thus, I am asking that Bioware, before rushing in head strong and making a product that will upset more people thn it satisfies, instead take a step back, pause for a moment and pay heed to what is actually being written by the fans on this board. Bioware wants to end the Shepard arc, and they can do this, but it has to be given the ending that it deserves and one that the majority of players can feel both content and satisfied with.
