TELL ME YOU DON'T WANT TO PLAY THAT, BSN.

Don't get me wrong, I've had to go from Wasteland to Fountain of Dreams to Fallout to Fallout 2 to Fallout Tactics to Fallout New Vegas to anticipate a sequel but it's a different flavor of enjoyment than BW's games.

I enjoyed the ME trilogy for what it is and currently waiting for the Extended Cut, I'm just wondering if we're going to be getting something like Highlander 2: Renegade Edition.

Will this just come down thrugh Origin automatically, Or will we need to download and install it?
OR can we decide not have it at all?

doubling down on a crap ending is still doing nothing but expanding on the pile that is the ME3 ending. They even posted on here that they are listening! Is there a disconnect between those that "are listening" and those that are making choices? How hard is it to catch a clue that the ENDING does NOT fit this game series?!

What happened to "your choices matter" yep they mattered right up until the last 10 min of the game where it went from you can do it! (stopping the reapers) to you are screwed and nothing you do can return the galaxy to anything remotely like it was.(starchild)

FIX the ending(s) then you can expand upon them please!!!!

Artistic vision? I don't really think copy and pasting the Deus Ex 1 endings is very artistic.

Please excuse my interuption to the original subject of this thread.  I just started a poll, asking people to state if people liked or disliked the ending AND what type of game platform they played it on.  http://social.biowar...90/polls/31865/   Would appreciate it if everyone took a moment to vote once.  Thanks....now back to your regularly scheduled thread.

Sorry, Bioware, but it's summer...I don't feel like having the wool pulled over my eyes.

Until I can get the "good ending" that I earned, ME3's endings will remain crap...no matter how much paint you put on it

From the Poll Post I made:

I earned* a good ending**.

*ME1: Council Saved; ME2: Everyone survived the Suicide Mission; ME3: Over 6000 Military Strength, 100% Galactic Readiness, Geth & Quarrians at peace

**Good Ending: Shep lives, EDI & Geth lives, Relays still exist, and Reapers destroyed

This would be marvelous indeed!! or at the very least should of been one of the options..but nooooooooo

I dont see why anyone is happy about this announcement. It was a BIG "F*** You."

The smartest thing I have read, and I will firmly follow if they do this wrong is this:

"You keep your "artistic vision" and i'll keep my money. We can leave it at that Bioware. "

This isn't the "team's artistic vision," it's Casey Hudson playing Deus EX: Human Revolution while developing the game and him deciding the ending. The rest of the team just got their work spat at because of the decisions of that new age George Lucas Casey Hudson.

Thanks for Mass Effect's Episode 1 with that wonderful Deus EX ending rip off.

And that is what this ending did to me ; am a huge bioware fan .
I can overlook flaws in SWTOR , but guess what ME3 endings just killed everything I could stand in SWTOR .

And they wondered why people don´t log in anymore , really huge bioware fans .

What did it do to you? make you determined to pull them down no matter what? If that's the case, I don't really have any sympathy for you; that's wrong, regardless of how you feel they betrayed your trust.

LOL i betrayed my trust ?
I feel betrayed at such crappy directors cut ending to sell DLC .
I feel betrayed for day 1 DLC content , day 1 ... you know game development material that should be free.
Cause it was made at the same time as the game .
I feel betrayed for playing a wonderfull 99% game that last 1% made me feel like it was meaningless.

Wait you don´t feel betrayed ? hmm wierd , very strange .

Those whom don't feel betrayed... Probs have only ever played ME3!!Image IPB

Here's the extended 5 minute ending

Starchild- I am evil! I force people to make choices!

Shepard- Damn you!

And so the galaxy was saved by shepard....somehow joker teleported onto the normady!

Joker- Me and Edi are fine! We landed on a tropical Paradise...

THane was still dead...

Miranda was still dead

Tali build a house on Ronnoch

Garrus calibrated

Kaiden did Kaiden stuff

Ashley combed her hair

Jack got a tattoo

Liara was still blue

James ate a taco

And the reapers were either/blown up/controlled/fusion

"The Shepard saved the galaxy, but he/she may still be alive somewhere, Thanks for Playing!

The End

Hi all, thank you for your great feedback. ALL feedback, negative or positive is important as long as it's civil and constructive.

It's not expected of you to hold your breath until the Extended Cut DLC is fully deployed but I do hope that you base your final judgement on the actual release as you will have experienced it first hand, should you choose to play it. And I truly hope you do play it.

Thank you!

Hey Lion thanks for a response in thread.   While I must say my faith with Bioware as a company has been shaken (in terms of what some folks at your company said pre-release and what was actually delievered end game) 99% of Mass Effect 3 is great.  Despite some of the bugs, textures etc it's still a fun game.

I will however say it will be doubtful if I buy another of your games in the future, regardless if they're continue or starting a new Mass Effect story.   Thanks for taking the time to post in thread though to let us know you've at least breezed through.

For those of us who actually liked the endings, but wanted more explanations and epilogues, this sounds great.

And originality? You mean that the ending of the ever-praised Baldur's Gate 2, with the hero-ascending-to-godhood was so freakishly original? Or that "slaying the big bad beast and defeating the evil" in Dragon Age: Origins has never happened before in the history of video games?

There's almost nothing original out there. There's always something that's "too similar".

I expect the ending DLC to have the same quality as the ending itself, so its more like taking a ****** on the pile of crap.

I reserve the right to judge after its been released. If they manage to make Starchild palatable and somewhat logical (even if its broken logic) while making the endings more unique I wouldn't mind.

Guess I don't care too much about a crazy "AI" coming up with circle logic, it's called becoming complacent in the face of non-opposition.
What I have a problem with is the color coded endings...and how each ending besides the different colors is basically the same. Not a good way to end a flagship trilogy, with endings that are basically the same graphically.

No problem Lion, nice to see someone from Bioware reading the forums.. guess lately not very good place to read. I am not angry, just disappointed - the game was fun, it had everything, but its as if the people who created the ending where not there for the creation of the rest of the game. I played many Bioware games over the years, probably all of them and never been disappointed, well alittle when Dragonage 2 came out and it was not about the Warden, but when I played it as a seperate game, i really enjoyed it ( i am a very easy going gamer, if i do not like a game I just put it to the side, but I guess this one was different). But the ending of ME3 just does not match up to the rest of the game and 2 previous games. I can not see how this got by the testers (I would of gone "Ugh ????" picked up the case to make sure i was playing the same game, and spent the next few hours scribbling on the tests sheets), unless they never tested the ending to keep it secret, only tested by others?

Well anyway, I will wait for the DLC extended, but i think it will not make any difference.. Its the silly evil robot looking like a kid, ending choices and what happens to Shep thats the problem, not the unfathomable cimematics at the end.

Keep up the good work Guys and Girls, you can not get it right every time, just a shame it was on a game series that i really liked..I would not like to be in the Dragonage 3 programmers shoes at the moment.. must be looking at the script thinking " We got this right?"

Regards Steve

This isn't going to work, i appreciate the gesture but part of the problem for me personally was the ending was almost a copy pasted version from another game which is now 12 years old. It lacked any real creativity it's like one of the writers looked at deus ex and said " Hey that's cool lets do it "

I really want to believe that this thing could save everything but that's being way to over optimistic given that it's free i don't believe it'll deliver and it'll come off as some half assed attempt to try and silence people but at the same time if it fails the forums will erupt once again.

No matter how you try to polish the ending the problem remains in tact. The star child, the abc choices these are some of the biggest problems you see people talk about. I never realistically expected ME3 to have 16 unique endings i was hoping for 3/4 ish unique one's but regardless there's nothing unique about it other than the colour explosion that happens.

I said in a previous thread i wanted this game to be remembered for good reasons not for the reasons this game will go down in history for.
