Find and read all pre-release press releases and interviews by Casey Hudson then rethink that statement. I'll even start you off.RiouHotaru wrote...

Bioware already got my money for ME3, but I traded it in. Some one will buy it used, and that will be one less NEW game sold to make EA/Bioware money. I don't even care about this new ending. Not anymore. Bioware has treated real fans of the series like **** up to this point. The snide comments and lies have been enough. I am done with Bioware. I know I am just one person, but I don't care. No more money from me. Bioware as I knew them is dead.

Oh I understood the ending perfectly. I can even make educated guesses as to how the Normandy ended up where it is. Understanding the ending doesn't make it any less nonsensical though. If anyone failed to understand the ending it was Bioware themselves. They wrote an ending that didn't match with the previous games or even what occurs in the same game. It's like when Harbinger hit Shepard with the beam, Shepard jumped into an alternate reality where he never made all the choices he made and thus had no reason to question Starchild.
Or, that Shepard is a clone. I expect the clariication to be an additional scene where we see that Shepard dies and is replaced by a stupid clone. CloneShep if you will. It makes sense.

Regardless, add a Harbinger controlled TIM, and I might be interested. He could help clarify some things. *shakes fist*

Then you're overanalyzing (which seems to be a common thing). Just because we didn't understand their ending doesn't make us stupid. Nor does giving us this "Extended Cut" mean they think we're stupid either.
How does it in ANY way say they think we're idiots if we go: "Bioware, we didn't understand what you gave us."
And they go: "Ok, here's an explanation of what we gave you."
HOW, I ask, HOW does this in ANY way say "Our fans are retards!"

Are you guys really complaining about free stuff?
Think about this for a second.... Please, I need you guys to do it, I can't even believe what I am seeing. They are giving us FREE content, and you guys are actually complaining.
It's a smart move on their part, they offer us free DLC with very little content that doesn't actually improve anything but because they give it for free anyone that is still unhappy about it look like whiners. They don't lose much money in production and they make it look like they made it from the good in their heart.
Smart yes. But is it "free companion ticket for your next Titanic voyage" smart?
Then there's still a problem with effort, isn't there?

Well, if that's your take, that's your take. I'd say wait until the Extended Cut comes out and then make a judgment.
But it doesn't matter, because the Extended is obviously not conforming to everyone's wishes, so folks are already lambasting it before it's even out.

I got all excited and emotional a couple of minutes ago, but I'm not breaking formation from the line until we see what's up.
Also, "offer available until April 12"? What the hell does that mean? If anybody buys the game after that date, they have to pay for closure DLC? Seriously?
continue reading: "until April 12 2014"
Same principle. The notion is completely LOL.
I don't have the link handy, but they did explain it's just a legal notice that EA attaches to any free DLC. The DLC will remain free forever, even after 2014. It's just something the legal department has to write.

-UPDATE-
Okay, I found the link. This DLC will REMAIN FREE FOREVER:

If they had given us what they had promised in the first place, there would be nothing to complain about and that free stuff wouldn't be necessary.
Now people are complaining because adding content to a broken ending will not change the fact that it is still broken.
If the engine of my car is broken, either I fix it or I buy a new car, but I will not apply a new layer of paint or add new wheel rims because that will not change the fact that my car is useless.
^^THIS
Yep, it's STILL not a new ending, it's just additional "clarification" to the three s#!%y ones we have now.
Which is still disappointing that the StarChild still exists, the Mass Relays still explode, the Geth & EDI still die in the Destroy option, you still "force" every sentient being to become half-synthetic, Shepard still more or less dies in the Synthesis ending, and Shepard may or may not Control the Reapers as the new Catalyst.
Sadly, I expected them to take the cheap way out, a full retcon of the ending would eat up more resources than what EA was willing to part with and would take far too long fix completely.

I'll support the Hold the Line movement but personally, I just don't care anymore. I'll download the free content, check it out but as things stand right now I don't have any faith in Bioware/EA and their so called artistic integrity.
Good for anyone who wants to support them but for me? I'm not spending any more than bargain bin pricing.

they are going to get a few giant cranes, then raise both halves of the titanic from the bottom of the sea. Then they are going to weld those two halves back together, then try and see if it will float again.
