Cause it came out of no where while we fought Souvrein, talked with Harbinger and then the destroyer class on Rannoch say that Harbinger mentioned Shepard, heck, he even tried to kill us at the magic beam but all we got was space magic instead of telling Harbinger he was an **** and that we were going to kick his assliquiddemon wrote...
AI is very much a part of mass effect. So why would a super advanced Ai that controls the reapers be wierd?

Becaues Indoctrination has been established since the begining of the series. Indoctrination has propper foreshadowing and reinforcement throughout, while Star Brat shows up in the last 10 minutes of the game.
Me3 edning as is = many plotholes

Especially when fans churn them out like sausages. I wonder how personalized it will be, if at all. The sterile ending we have, complemented by an equally sterile closure/intro-to-the-basics-of-magic, well, we all know how that's going to feel...

The repercussions of this are enormous. No AI could control a Reaper in this context. Indoctrination takes time and energy. No way anything has the power to indoctrinate billions of people simultaneously.. let alone thousands of Reapers!

Why are poeple still complaining when we don't know what the DLC will even contain, and that it's FREE? Who can possibly say with 100% certainty that Bioware can't fix this? Give it a rest already! Let them do their jobs! Heads up high! We are getting a FREE dlc from a company that makes money off of us. This is the first time this happens in gaming history, guys. Wait and see. When we know exactly what it's going to contain, we can have legitimate complaints then. As it stands, all complaints about this are... wait for it... SPECULATIVE complaints!
They already came out and said what the DLC has and DOESN'T have. What the DLC does is just add more cut scenes and epilog stuff. It doesn't change the stupid ABC ending. There blowing us off and are using the "artistic integrety" argument as an excuse to cover up their crap ending. We haven't won anything. This is just bioware extending their already crap ending.

Is this DLC interactive? It seemed kind of vague in these announcements. Is it just cutscenes?

So... how exactly did, "clean up the vile excrement that is the ME3 endings" get translated into, "smear and spread the vile excrement that is the ME3 endings even further" to you guys, BioWare?
I mean seriously... what is it with you guys ignoring the specifics of feedback so utterly and always "fixing" things in the stupidest manner possible. This is the same type of follow-up that resulted in all the half-assed, non-solutions we've already got from you in the past. I'm not so much surprised since it fits your pattern as of late, but more frustrated at the sheer stupidity of it and that it has continuously happened this long now. It seems you guys do absolutely nothing but demonstrate with every passing week and month that you guys not only simply don't learn and don't seem to even want to learn.
If that clearly rushed job ending that contradicts itself, logic and previous comments about where this series was going is "Artistic Integrity" in your eyes, then all is lost. I mean... come on! Clarification and that's it? Adding more crap to crap doesn't change the fact that it's crap, nor does any amount of window-dressing. Unless the indoctrination theory is true and you guys are running with that for explaining all the problems with ME3's final moments, then all you're creating is a pointless waste. You might as well create a garbage-making machine.
Because you assume it was rushed, or contradicts itself, etc, etc. Once again, you're jumping the gun. Just like everyone else.

Actually the most idiotic post I've seen in a long time. Indoctrination is established in me1. Godchild is established in 5 minutes/14 lines.

"Listening" my ass. If you were listening, you'd have added the other 13 endings which we were promised (and make sure they all make sense). And no, color choices does not make an ending different, so that doesn't count.
I hear the Witcher 2 is releasing a free huge overhaul with all their DLC + New ending content + heaps of other content...oh, they are doing that without being asked and its FREE.
Gonna go buy a 2nd copy of it, cause they deserve it.

This news actually makes me kind of happy. I don't want to go through 100+ pages of this thread, but any news on if they are going to add closure to the squad? Still stranded on Jurassic Park? Can Shepard find them if she lives? Will they get the squad VA for this?

Not redo, just add more endings.
As for the "artistic integrity" lines;
CD Projekt RED - Witcher 2 Enhanced (with added ending content, without being asked to do it).
Bathesda - Fallout 3 New Ending (Done due to a smaller backlash then ME3s).
They've been EAed, thats all. So now, my money goes elsewhere.

They didn't get into specifics, so no, we don't know. It's even possible that they can fix it. Just because we can't figure out how doesn't mean there isn't a way out that they can see, and since they haven't told us what that way out is yet, our complaints remain speculative, and we are guilty of doing exactly what we didn't want to be doing after the original ending that started this whole thing in the first place.

I'm expecting an expansion like Broken Steel not more lies and insults to the paying public but we know that's all we'll get from them.

But it does and was. If it wasn't rushed, then BioWare are in even worse shape than I thought. And that's really saying something these days.
But if you want to set yourself up for disappointment with your delusions that BioWare is doing anything more than throwing more faeces at us and spreading it further like a group of jabbering monkeys who never listen because they're too busy screeching and hooting, then by all means.

No, they didn't listen. That's pretty damn evident. This is little more than a PR stunt combined with them essentially putting a small Band-Aid on the stump of a franchise that's been decapitated and them calling it a solution.
