This is classic PR-damage-limitation bull:

Give out the bare minimum, be as vague as possible and you'll take away a lot of dissenters who'll grasp at the straws of hope. And do this just before a big event to neutralize the flak you would have otherwise got.

Nicely played Bioware/EA. Looking at the amount of people spunking themselves over 'I'ts free!! We've won!!!' You've succeeded.

It is true they may leave, however, unlike you seem to think, it is NOT a good thing. Not for BioWare at least.

So it's a free DLC until 2014 and then you have to pay for it if you want it? Why? What's the point in that? Can't say anything about this until we know more really.

This proves how much control EA has over this game and likely decided simple cutscenes were the cheapest fix.

Bioware hasn't even made an announcement yet. It comes from EA first. Why is this?

I dont know, friends. Im happy we'll get more clarity and closure of course. And again i thought the endings were actually artistic and emotionally rocking. But to not have additional alternative endings? To still have Shep's story end in This Way? Im still sad. Im still scared of what that content will be. It reaffirms the very fear i had when Ray said we were getting clarity and closure...not additional endings.
