hmm i cant wait for half the annoying retakers to leave today over this, what a great morning!!!
Or a delay means they want to keep us guessing since the only reason a lot of people are still hanging around is because they think the issue might be resolved to their satisfaction. They still have DLC to sell us, y'know.Voutsis1982 wrote...
A delay is good. A delay means some thought and effort will go into this. Summer's a big window, and five months development is a lot more than two.

The negativity many treat this with is disheartening.
As bad as the ending is BioWare are addressing it, not just with clarity and closure but also PERSONALIZATION aka showing the results of your choices.
It is also FREE.
This is a much better result than I expected. Of course it doesn't address everything (thematic disconnect, bad storytelling) and remains to be seen how good it will end up being, but outright negativity is not the way to recieve this announcement.

"You're getting more of our amazing starchild vision. We're adding some dialogue-free cutscenes and text walls to explain how right our plothole-filled mess is. It's free because we're not really doing much and we're not changing anything in-game, but it's going to take us until "sometime in Summer" because goodwill is more valuable than the further disappointment you'll have when you realize this is all you're getting. Until then, we're going to make it sound awesome so maybe you guys will be relieved enough that our Aria DLC won't be take too big of a hit in sales."
