This is just another reason why Bethesda are the far superior company, they realized fans were upset with the ending of Fallout 3 so they released some good DLC that tied things up and offered extended gameplay.

BioWare and their "artistic vision" are a joke.

I was hopeful until I read the FAQ. If these endings are the kind of garbage Bioware is "proud of" then they don't have a clue.

Me3 ending protesters Hit EA with the free market system. EAoware blocks with artistic integrity and clarification. Block fails, the free market system is super effective.

Well , they talk a big deal about their "artistic integrity " ,how can they let that end so poorly written like that?
They can add whatever they want to it ,it's simply broken.
The Godchild is bad , the singularity threat come out of nowhere , the choices are ridiculous.
Synthesis =" but i killed Saren for that in ME1"
Control = "I just kill Tim and told him he was wrong about it"
Destroy = "Can you just tell your reapers to go make love to the nearest burning suns?No ,damn i liked the Geth so much (yeah the ones Godchild told you they're gonna turn monsters and eat your babies)

I mean if they can pull off something good out of this , I'll be totally impressed.
But I highly doubt it's even possible.

No. I have serious issues with the ending but I see the (potentially broken) promise of a more personal ending to be a fair compromise. For better or worse I need my Mass Effect saga to end. They've said they'll do that. As long as they do, I'm good.

If it's coming out during the summer, this gives them something like 4-ish months to have something and it still be summer time. I wonder what they'll be able to come up with in that time frame.

I'll be cautiously optimistic and hope they come up with a decent explanation.

I was only hoping for clarity and explanation, to be honest. Let's face it, there is no way to really take the starkid and his merry band of huskateers out of the games, not for console gamers.

If they can explain that whole pile of gibberish, then good on them. I only hope that the writers of this extended edition ending are the ones that wrote the Tuchunka mission. Hands down, my favorite mission, so well written no matter which path you went down. I have faith that if anyone can polish that pile of cra...err, stuff, it's those extremely talented writers. Someone else might get it wrong (as we saw...).

Considering they've just made a massive shift in resources based on complaints from purchasers of the game, like all those posting in here, your point is rather lost on me.

Everything gets twisted online and all context is lost. If you open the comments on a blog post like that, there would be about 200 in 5 minutes. The entire episode would just blow up even further. They'd have good reason to say "Screw you then, you can have nothing".

I agree to some extent. But individuals on both sides of the spectrum are fanning the flames. Retakers and Pro-enders alike acting like school kids calling eachother "boogerheads" on a playground.

So, no final battle with harbinger. Just three different cut scenes: one saying "Shepard, you're indoctrinated", another saying "Shepard died before he got to the beam", and a final one where they pull Shepard out of the rumble before he passes? Awesome.
