Are there going to be more/different endings or ending DLCs in the future?
No. BioWare strongly believes in the team's artistic vision for the end of this arc of the Mass Effect franchise. The extended cut DLC will expand on the existing endings, but no further ending DLC is planned.
Meanwhile in reality...
I had that planet as my desktop background at one point a while ago. Imagine my utter dissappoint, after going through that manure pile of an ending, I saw it as the very last thing in my favorite trilogy of all time.
My god...the horror. The lazyness...
Have to admit, the woman in the stock photo is damn gorgeous.

That's just my take on it. I'm sure others will give future products the benefit of the doubt but I really don't like the fact that, unless major revelations are made in this DLC that show us why the galaxy is not screwed six ways till Sunday, they nuked the Mass Effect universe because it's dramatic and "artistic". You don't just...EXPLODE a galaxy like that, unless you're torching the series, and you can't explain it or do it proper justice in a cutscene. If they wanted to nuke the galaxy make it happen at the beginning of Mass Effect 4, where you could spend the game showing the effects and consequences of it and how the galaxy got around such a catastrophic event, not at the end of Mass Effect 3 where the most you can do is make a cutscene that says, "and then people did this and this this many years in the future to fix stuff. We can't really show you it or let you explore it but that's what happened".
Let me have my gotdang victory; let me have my happiness and cake and cheering crowds across the galaxy. Nuke the galaxy in Mass Effect 4 so you don't have to take into account all the choices from the first trilogy, I don't care; just don't do it at the end of ME3 where you make me feel like everything I did was pointless.
Whatever I guess.<_<

It's not that we "don't get it". We do, that's the problem, we get that it's crap.
Alas, I am done with you, Bioware.

Bioware: Sit down class. We've added cutscenes and a datapad to educate you on what you couldn't comprehend of our glorious ending.
I find it kind of insulting that they feel the need to hold our hands through a flawed ending.
You can glorify and explain away a chicken mcnugget but you know it is still breaded chicken paste.

Alright thats it, they are giving us a FREE dlc that will extrapolate on the endings and you guys are STILL whining? That's it, all the talk of the retake movement being entitled brats is completely true at this point! You guys are just whining for the sake of whining. Go be miserable elsewhere, I am sick and tired of listening to it your constant disgust with everything that isn't perfect in your screwed up minds.
With that said, I thank you very much Bioware, I certainly did not expect this to be free, you have gone above and beyond my expectations, especially as someone who really enjoyed the current endings but felt they could have used a bit more work. Sorry for the reactions here, thankfully, not all of the fans of the game are radicals who hate everything that isn't 100% perfect in their minds.
That said, haters gonna hate.
I don't think you get it. People still complain becuase they did not get what they where asking for. Not even close. Its like asking for something to drink and someone hands you a cheese slicer. And then gets offended when you say you didnt get what you asked for.
I have a hard time believing that a "clarification DLC" can salvage this mess of an ending.
In the current ending Bioware shows you a turd, and the fans asks "wtf is this???" and Bioware says nothing.
With the clarification DLC its more like this:
Bioware shows you a turd, and the fans asks "wtf is this???" and Bioware says "it's a turd".
But I don't care anymore. I've given up and i'm at peace with that.
Knowing that at least I won't waste any more money on Bioware.

The conflict of the game is still derailed and replaced with some bull crap "AI is bad" nonsense, even though Shepard has AI friends, allies, and crew.
Shepard fails to save the galaxy. Shepard loses.
By forcing Shepard to choose from among 3 nonsensical reaper-approved colors, the Reapers win.
What makes you think I want this bull crap extended? By defending the existing endings, saying you're proud of them even though you have to know they are complete trash, you have lost your artistic integrity--and your artistic credibility--because you are dishonest.
I will do what I always said I would do. I will download this thing when it comes out and play through it. Then I will review the game with the "extended ending" and score it on several different sites. I will be honest. Unless the polish you put on this turd accomplishes something miraculous, I will be done with pre-orders and collector's editions from BioWare, and I'll be picking up games from this developer only if they are well reviewed by actual consumers, and then only when the ultimate edition with all the stuff included becomes available for less than $30.

I don't think showing my two squad mates getting killed is going to explain why they are suddenly on the Normandy with Joker?
I don't think showing epilogues is going to fix the massive stink the team created by lying to everyone throughout the development of the game and saying the things we do in the game actually matter.
None of these things are being fixed so who exactly is this appeasing?

I'll also say this again, if you as the artist HAVE to tell me / "clarify" that your work is art, guess what.. its not.

It's because it is so badly written that we hate it.
The godchild and the 10.000 plotholes are why, not because we didn't see what happened to the rest of the galaxy (Which we pretty much know because we blew up half of the galaxy).

"Perkins, what's the news with EA and Bioware?"
"They f**ked up, sir."
"Alright, that's our cue gentlemen, what do we have on the table to bring in the angry Bioware fans?"
"We should have something to show off by the time they're done with their statement at PAX, sir."
"Excellent, this is the moment we knew was coming for a month now, remember everyone, put on your honest faces and halos, they won't be able to resist the offers of DLC we can give them."
"Sir, apparently several other companies are also preparing DLC and news about their games to drive the population away from Mass Effect 3, should we do something about it?"
"No Perkins, We'll all work together on this one and blow Bioware out of business in one fell swoop."
"Sir, you're a genius, no wonder we aren't in the position they're in."
"I know, right? What kind of idiot writer thinks that people would be happy with a kid apparently controlling everything, and then seeing everyone they know and love being stranded on a planet with some of your best friends doomed to starvation and the rest doomed to die from overpopulation?"
