I want to hear the writers explaining why this ending was to them the most fitting conclusion to this series? That's the ONLY thing I think fans really are entitled to. All other demands are – though fine with me personally – just wish lists and nothing more.

How did they get to the normandy? Why were they running? Why do two of the choices go against everything you fight against the whole series? Why didn't EA release this before they were voted worst company in America? Why did the destruction of the relays not kill everything? Why does Buzz Aldrin say "ok, one more story" when he knows there isn't a real mass effect universe anymore? (You know, because mass relays and everything that uses the "Mass Effect" no longer works)

This pretty much sums it up. We are still going to have the ending that makes no sense and ruins the franchise, that went against everything we began from ME1. NOW it will get expanded with cutscenes. I'm done with Bioware and Electronic Arts

Jesus christ, no other game company that I know of have changed their ending because of whining. Are you really still pissed? Just leave the forum and play some other game. I've been disappointed by games too but I don't make it a ****ing life mission to make them change that one game.
Problem is, there is no other game quite like Mass Effect. It wasn't just about blowing up big bad aliens with big guns, it had actual emotional relevance for a lot of its players.
Anyway, I've seen plenty of people complain about things that i considered to be unimportant too, but i don't post and swear on forums to make people stop complaining and posting on forums. If you're pissed at all the 'whining', leave the forum.
I have never complained about the whiners until today when they announced this and I was sure people would atleast give them a second chance and stop being obnoxious for a while
I think it's because you misunderstand why people are angry.
It feels like BW have chosen a middle path that hasn't actually answered people's concerns but allows them to say "Well we tried!" - it makes those unhappy look unreasonable when they're not: I mean, look at your response as perfect proof of this!
It's a political move: "We tried to make people happy!" - BW
"We really tried!" - BW

Not only is he annoying, but he completely derails the entire series (As many people have pointed out in much better detail.)

Currently, Bethesda developers are in a meeting with something along the lines of this being said:
"Perkins, what's the news with EA and Bioware?"
"They f**ked up, sir."
"Alright, that's our cue gentlemen, what do we have on the table to bring in the angry Bioware fans?"
"We should have something to show off by the time they're done with their statement at PAX, sir."
"Excellent, this is the moment we knew was coming for a month now, remember everyone, put on your honest faces and halos, they won't be able to resist the offers of DLC we can give them."
"Sir, apparently several other companies are also preparing DLC and news about their games to drive the population away from Mass Effect 3, should we do something about it?"
"No Perkins, We'll all work together on this one and blow Bioware out of business in one fell swoop."
"Sir, you're a genius, no wonder we aren't in the position they're in."
"I know, right? What kind of idiot writer thinks that people would be happy with a kid apparently controlling everything, and then seeing everyone they know and love being stranded on a planet with some of your best friends doomed to starvation and the rest doomed to die from overpopulation?"
QFT.
I'm not doing so deliberately, I'm bringing joy to the sadness of the case. In this case, completely true joy. Other companies have usually spring out/announce DLC or news at this time been whisper quiet for a while now. Usually they'd have content out, but it looks like they've been holding it for the climax of this issue, where fans will be the most prone to influence from exterior sources, to announce their stuff and reel in some bonus profit. I'm sure that at least three major companies are holding out for this to reach its apex before throwing some bonus news and content on the table. I know for a fact that 343 are dishing out information about halo 4 (one of the OTHER major game release this year) soon, bethesda has been boasting about "meaty" DLC for months, and that we're still in the middle of Call of Duty's content season, and they're overdue for a content announcement. And remember, this is only following the mainstream companies, other, less known companies will most likely try to get some well-wanted fans to their side.
This IS what will happen, any game developer with half a brain would know that the time to release news is now, and they've known for nearly a month now, plenty of time to give out some amazing DLC and news.

Maybe they'll show us scenes of Garrus and Tali starving to death on jungle planet. I AM SO EXCITED!!!!
Too funny! But personally, I think Tali dies of bacteria illnesses first. Perhaps they could show an emotional scene of Garrus at Tali's bedside. They've hooked up of course first, considering I (shep) have died and am no longer with Tali...
Lot's of speculation...

Bravo Bioware for not letting fear compromise who they are. Better to thin the herd and make some losses in the short term than to be constantly fearful about when the hardcore fanbase is going to blow up yet again.
They dont pay you for sucking up you know

Thank you Bioware, I liked the ending and I can only appreciate that there will be more scenes about it.
You understand it tell me did we really win since every organic race will either die out or is already dead now
