This is EA. If it's free, it's probably going to be two things:

1) Extremely short
2) Poorly done

The offer expiring thing is probably just because they will add the extended cut to any copies they print from now onwards, and are giving 2 years for people to get this for their current version.

Not too sure how to take it. Good thing that it's free and is supposed to add clarity and what have you.

On one hand, would it really take them til the Summer just to slap in some slideshow pics and a text epilogue? Wouldn't the 3 months or whatever mean that they're going to be adding something substantial?

On the other hand, I naturally expect disappointment on account of being English. We'll just see what happens.

Obviously we don't know what is in the extended cut. It may still not be satisfying but they aren't charging you for the end of the game DLC as some had feared.

Why do you think it wont confirm indoc theory? Show a cutscene of shepard waking up holding his head, and then go activate crucible and blow the reapers out?

Im withholding judgement. This is pretty much what ive been expecting them to do since Ray's statement. Only free. So its a bit better than anticipated.
