Ah well, the indoctrination theory was fun when it lasted. I'm not sure if I'm looking forward to this, but at least they are trying.

At least get rid of the Normandy scene, come on! >.<
Hopefully they will give some additional info about it on PAX.

I said I'd give BioWare one more chance. Here is their chance. Very surprised that it is free, however.
Don't let us down.
Yeah, it's really cool they are doing anything at all. Despite everything, this is something. And it's free; no risk. I say we let them see what they can do.

The only things I hate are that the Catalyst looks like that child (the fact that the Catalyst is sentient at all throws doubt over Sovereign's necessity in ME1) and the Normandy crash (particularly how your squadmates got back to it, and why Joker was fleeing Earth - although for that last point I imagine everyone was fleeing when they saw the Crucible activate and Joker was one of the last or something).
So if Bioware can actually offer believable explanation that does away with most of the plotholes, I'll be relatively happy. I'm still disappointed that, while ME1 and ME2 choices impact ME3's story, ME3's choices have very little impact outside of emotional impact, and I hate the Normandy crash, but if Bioware can provide some genuine clarity over the endings then I'll personally be fine with the endings.
Also, the fact that its free is fantastic. EA need some good publicity after being voted worst company in America (I don't get that - oil companies and weapon manufacturers are surely vastly worse than a videogame publisher?) and its a good gesture on their part.

Guys stop mentioning it's free as if it's a good thing.
This is EA. If it's free, it's probably going to be two things:
1) Extremely short
2) Poorly done
It's not even free forever, the offer expires in April of 2014.
Lol, I don't understand that part.

CLARITY!
The interesting thing is people in the Simpsons only have four fingers so they don't actually have a "middle" finger

I totally called it. Just didn't happen at Pax like I suspected.
Still doesn't really solve the problem of how I personally feel about the ending and what made it falter (something many seem to agree upon), but I will at least take this is a gesture of good will and a somewhat of a promise that they won't botch it like they've been in their future products.
And sooo it begins, the end of all this.
I called that the pax revelations would be reveled a day or 2 before pax.

I mean, everyone said that the ending was a complete garbage... And now we have a detailed information about the garbage?
"Here you have some plastic bags, some root apples, an expired spam can..."
Why they did this? WHY?

DLC with ending cinematics and epilogue?
No. Just no. This is not what we fought for. What about more gameplay?
If it is what it sounds like, then it is an EPIC FAIL indicator for BioWare's ME3 team.
More gameplay? I don't think I've seen a single retaker ask for more gameplay.
All in all, this is pretty much what I expected, a little surprised it's free though.

So they're keeping all the awful, nonsensical bollocks intact, destroying the Mass Effect universe as we know it, and just giving us more content to tell us why we were wrong to hate the endings.
I'm frankly aghast at how many of you seem happy about his.
I mean I get that it's free, but it's in no way solving any of the enormous fundamental problems the endings has.
Eh, sod it, I'm done, I really wish i'd never even heard of the Mass Effect games.

Now, you get to see exactly WHY Joker turned chicken and abandoned his captain of 3 1/2 years! Why your two squadmates left you to die! And WHY Joker now has to create babies with your LI of 5 years!
There could be some reasonable explanation for BioWare to write in. We know from cut dialogue that Joker was initially slated to perform some sort of rescue mission.
Maybe they'll make use out of some of the cut assets that are already in place. It probably doesn't feel like much of a victory, but perhaps this whole little mess will let developers know that it's worth taking their time with a product in future.

This is a serious win... if it's going to take them until summer to make it that could mean we're going to get something fairly substantial.
CAN'T WAIT UNTIL PAX!
Hopefully they'll explain themselves there.

Possibly a diversion? Or perhaps they are factoring our critique into the DLC. We won't know until it comes out. Until then... hold the line.Bigdoser wrote...
So what was the point of bioware asking for feedback if all they are doing is clarifying the ending?
