Eh, I know how paranoid it is to pick everything apart, but this right here:

Or more specifically here: "the end of this story arc in the Mass Effect universe.”
Seems like they want a Mass Effect 4, and suddenly the Stargazer scene makes a lot more sense...

Soz but the God Child was never going to disappear IMO, ever.

I hate it too. I think it castrates the presence of the Reapers completely. But it was never going to happen.

Having said that I did at least hope for a proper extension including additional ending(s) not just "we'll explain the crap we provided a bit better."

I'd rather pay for the full works.

So what are they gonna add-in without changing anything? The crew is crashed on the strange planet, so you see a cutscene how they start hunting wild animals to survive maybe? There is really no way to spin it that they're leaving that planet.

Extending current ending is not my favourite idea, but I respect bioware for wanting to keep their artistic vision. I don't have high hopes for this dlc. I'm not sure if they can really satisfy me with just extending it, but bioware deserves chance to try.

I'm little sceptical of quality of anything free from EA, but we will see..

Still think the ABC ending is BS, but an extended cut will at least do the series a bit of justice. Can't say im satisfied, but i hardly think they are gonna make even further explanation of the endings, so we'll see how it plays out.

I am not at all ashamed to admit that I am so glad I am not the only one who feels this way.

I dont think its pathetic at all.
But basing your hopes on twitter feeds will lead to dissapointment.
Many twitter posts up untill now were hinting at great things to come,indoctrination theory etch etch.
Its just PR to make people feel better and spawn speculation that will keep them hoping and not writing Bioware off completely, untill the backlash blows over.

They say "we are listening" Well, it seems to be a lie! And everything what they sad! If it is so, no one will by Mass Effect 4, if it releases! Neither the other bioware games too!

Extended: We'll now SEE how the Turians and Quarians starve to death. We'll see how the rest of the Armada is going to tear itself apart. We will see trillions of people die in the explosions of the Mass Relays.

We will see scenes about the surviving crew members last agonizing years on an unknown jungle planet. Viruses, poisonous flora, predators, you name it. We'll even see Lord of the Flies, the ME edition

Oh, and you will see how your love interest sinks into depression/cheats on you/kills herself
