I think I just decided to move on. I'll give them one with Red, Blue, and Green and I'm done. I just want to see what they did with the stupid ending. And the ending is stupid. I've stopped caring about this. They're not going to change anything. I won't be downloading any paid pre-ending DLC. And future Bioware games will have to be under $19.95 for purchase and they must be good.

The only way to beat the game is to never play it.

So, in light of the recent tweets from Jessica Merizan there's only one true ending, Destroy. The other two are pitfalls.

Hooray for genocide! Hooray for killing your friends! Hooray!

Makes the Rannoch decision kind of pointless, right?

And curing the genophage decision too..and destroying cerberus...

And saving the rachni queen, destroying the collector base...

So free extra cut scenes? that's about all i could make out, no extra gameplay or anything?

I am a little more hopeful hearing this news but I still have to see it to believe. I hope they edit out the part with the Normandy crashing though become that was the worst part of the ending for me. Also if this is art that scene is like someone painting the meaning of their art in big bold text. In the case of the Normandy crashing the text would read "NEW BEGINNING". So I hope that is cut out or it was all a dream.

So, my options are still only:
A) Mass Genocide versus our synthetic allies
B) Indocrinate Mysellf and become the Reapers (because the Reaper creator says it'll be okay)
C) Forcibly rewrite the entire galaxie's DNA without their approval.

Sounds like my Shepard may still be choosing none of the above rather than committing those war crimes, but still a bit curious what the extended explanation will do with those options.

This is why I don't like any of the endings.  They all make me sick.

How in the world would they rebuild the Mass Relays?

Not to mention that you'd need to build them both in the same place and drag one via FTL to the other location... since one Mass Relay at one location (e.g., Sol system) doesn't get you anywhere.

And if they had the tech to build Mass Relays to begin with... well, wtf?  The whole thing sounds like Bioware is going to create even more inconsistencies and plot holes as they try to please the fans while clinging onto their existing ending full of inconsistencies and plot holes.

I'm scared.

Unsure of a response at the moment... too many emotions to process.

I will just have to wait and see how they plan to clarify this mess. Regardless of how it turns out, I will no longer be the eager consumer I once was when I saw Bioware releasing a new game.

It's free, that's enough to placate me for now. I'm still worried about this "clarify" stuff, but am willing to wait and see. However I am wary that it will fail for the simple reason that they've proven they can drop the ball.

True although they did say "to shape the ending more to your character"...

So that tells me, the extra dialogue and cutscenes will be more drastic than people think.

Keep in mind, PAX is still tomorrow (well here on the US East Coast). So some elaboration may come out of this. In the mean time I'm taking what's said with a grain of salt. Fool me once, shame on you (DA2), fool me twice shame on me (ME3). I'm not risking a third until this is out.

This is also very convenient timing, considering PAX, and EA's worst company in America award yesterday.

If the DLC reasonable explains how Glowboy isn't a deus ex machina who ends the game by essentially just forcing you to make a choice of three buttons to push while having absolutely no reason to trust Glowboy on any of them, I'll be happy.

Shepard had no choice but to trust Starchild because the alternative was the death of everyone in the galaxy by Reaper.

Duh.

Best to just kill off the geth while at Rannoch and be done with it.

Aye.

Pretty ****ing hilarious that plot thread comes up so soon before the ending potentially causes you to destroy their entire race - talk about completely invalidating the whole scene.

"OH LOL, WELL MY DADDY TOLD ME SYNTHETICS WILL ALWAYS KILL ORGANICS HAHA."

"Wait, what? Well why the **** did I just spend all that time brokering the damn peace between Geth and Quarians if you Mr. Space Casper tell me that synthetics are fated to be my mortal enemy?"

Stupid. So stupid.

I dislike the current endings because it made me feel, like nothing I did before matter.
I said many times before i was rdy to see Shepard, Garrus and everyone else in the crew die. I know a lot of people were rdy as well. Bioware said your choices matter and i wanted that reflected on the final product even if it was like DAO epilogue. If this free DLC achieve this i am happy.

Now Bioware don't expect me to buy your DA3 or any products until i see reviews from fans.

Of course, I hold judgement until I see what this 'clarification' actually entails, but it doesn't sound too hopeful.

Good, I didn't want to pay for crap I already knew about and understood.

Most likely the extra scenes or dialogue that were cut from the game.

This is great news. I'll wait to see what it is before I crucify BioWare about it.

Free extra cut scenes that will ultimately do nothing to address the majority of our concerns.

No thanks.

This isn't really news. The only ending where you don't give in to the ideals of two villains and come out of it alive is clearly the true ending.
