Hello, I have an issue with The Stone Prisoner DLC.
I tried the stickies but they didn't appear very useful for me, so I'll ask here:

I haven't been able to download it since the day I installed DAO...
It says that It works with the 1.0 version but i have 1.01b.

So in order to download do I need to delete my game and reinstall? Or is there an easier way?
And if I do need to reinstall it, I won't lose my character, right?

Describe your problem precisely. This is very likely NOT a version issue.

Instead of "I can't download" give us some detail. Have you redeemed your code with this website? Are you logged in in-game? Does it show as available, downloading, installed? etc.

Ok, sorry for not describing it well.

I have redeemed the code, I am logged in.

It appears under the "download in progress" tab, most of the time it's at 0%, but sometimes it does download a little and then stop, saying the download has failed.



And it says version 1.0 in red, so I thought maybe thats the problem...

I am having the same issue, redeemed the code shows up logged in, i downloaded it but it stays in the download progress tab, it is at 100% but i dont see anything in the quest log or any way to install it

I redeemed the code, Stone Prisoner was downloaded and I get an error every time while it's "extracting".



What gives?

I'm having the same problem now. It worked fine the first time I downloaded it, but now I have installed the game on a different computer, and naturally want to have the DLC aswell so can continue my game, but it's stuck in the Download tab, at 100%. I also had trouble accessing the servers while trying to download, so some days there where no communication even though it said logged in... First time it was downloaded, it was installed automatically the next time I started the game I think.

Mines was stuck at 0% for 2 hours lol O_O but i restarted and it started downloading. Now its just the lag issue

I have a similar problem. I registered my game and entered codes for the blood dragon armor and the stone prisoner *before* installing the game. After instaling the game, I followed all instructions to dowload the content, but I can't even see it, it doesn't appear in the downloadable contents !



Is this because I redeemed the codes before installing the game ? Or perhaps it is because I downloaded the patch 1.02 right after installing the game ?

I have the similar problem with the stone prisoner. it says downloaded but nothing happens. version 1.0 in red (i have 1.02). Blood dragon armor was instald ok!

OK, try this, it worked for me. Go into the configure section at the play window. Then repair and finally clear Download Cache. After, enter the game and go back to the file and it should be going again, give it some time. Also extracting and installation takes a while.

Worked for me, although I had to repeat the process thrice.

i can't even choose to download the stone prisoner. even though i have redeemed the code. i got the ring and dragon armor thingy though. it says buy when i click on it. :S

I have DA for Xbox and i got the free redeem code with it i know i'm typing it right but it won't work i think someone might have used a generator and stole my code any suggestions???

For me the dowload tab just sits at 100% and says its dowloaded, but when i talk to the mercent it says its still dowloading.

update. now i could download the content. But i am at where it says 100% downloaded but fail to install. :S one step forward. two steps back.

When i enter the downloadable content screen there is nothing below any of the three tabs. Even though i have entered the redeem code! =(

I had this problem with the Stone Prisoner not installing and found the solution - I had insufficient disk space for the extraction of the files to take place, so the installation could not complete. Unfortunately the game doesn't tell you this. However, as soon as I cleared some disk space, the installation went perfectly. Hope that helps.

Same here although I only made it to 44% where it remained for 2-3hrs till I gave up.

- The Stone Prisoner: 0%

- BloodDragon Armor: 0%

- Embri's Many Pockets: 0%

There is a whole unoffical FAQ dealing with issues with download and installing DLC. http://social.biowar.../58/index/81613



Details are in the FAQ, but here's the quick hits of things to try.

1) Clear the Download Cache

2) Delete the manifest.xml file

3) Manually download and install the .dazip files

4) Make sure My Documents is in the default location when installing DLC

5) If Windows region and language is not US and English temporarily change to US and English to install DLC.

i also have the download at 100% for Stone Prisoner, but it doesn't show up as installed, and when I talk to the merchant again, it won't let me have the control rod saying that it is still downloading...even though its at 100%
