my problem is slight different. it shows up on the installed but when i try to play... the option i get from the guy when i click on him is "downloadable content" and it says i do not have enough points. but i already installed AND logged in. what gives???

Myhomepage, next to the The Stone Prisoner on the Installed Content Tab does it say (Unauthorized)?



If so you likely have an issue with the Dragon Age Origns Content Updater service not starting soon enough. Without it the game cannot verify what content you have the rights too and may try and sell it to you again. Try manually starting it before you start the game and see if that fixes things.



1.) Press the windows key + R (or click Start and then RUN) and type in services.msc and press ENTER

2.) Locate the Dragon Age: Origins - Content Update in the list of services.

3.) Right click it and select START



There is a beta fix available which can help resolve issues with it starting automatically when the game starts.

My problem is a little different. My Downloadable Content says it is installed and Enabled, but the location is not showing up on my World Map. I've already left Lothering and am in Redcliffe.

Do I need to go to another location to make it appear or is there someone I talk to to get the quest for it to appear on my map?

i tried you steps Kepha, but i am still experiencing the same problem.



when i download the content, it says it is 100% complete, but it will never go to the Installed tab, no matter how long i wait. nor did starting the aforementioned service do me any good.



any ideas? i'd hate to think i wasted $27 on content i cannot play.

I have the same problem and it wont show up in download in progress window when i open up the downloadable content window it says that i redeemed my code for him but it wont show up and its the same with the Wardens Keep download as well

Hello everyone !

I have been on A LOT of forums discussing this subject. There have been some problems about missing places on "The Map" and etc. I finaly made it work so i could travel to Sulcher's Pass..

It's from the guy you get the rod, and also the guy who starts the "Shale Quest".

Now it says i have to download the Content ? The problem is- I already owned this Content, but still it wants me to download it again ?!. I could use some help. "GEEK ALERT " !
