Dead Mass Effect and BioWare staff. I have seen enough and now I am truly angry. (not at you, but at players) I have spent so much time playing your game and earned credits for multiplayer fairly. Today while I was playing the whole day, I have met over 12 players that had been doing the credit exploit/glitch to earn credits. I wanted to play Gold challange fairly, then I kept meeting noobs. They would get at average of 40000 Credits per 4 minutes.

I asked them and they told me that they had been doing such action for weeks and did not get caught. The told me "it's totally safe and also remember to turn off your online feedback" They even told me the millions of credits they made and how many Premium Specter Packs they already bought (one of them bought like 100 Premium Specter Packs already)

As a fan and a player who literary epent days playing and did use some real money (around 100 US) , I find this extremely unfair. I am just here to tell you that you must fix this and give out and online warning to all players. (like the update news on Oparations) Players who had been doing this think that BioWare is going to igonore this and that you deserver to be looked down. I don't know if you are aware of this. I joined the Forums recently, so I still don't know much of what is going on here.

I posted this for awareness, and I would also like to know your opinion and feedback. This is part of the multiplayer discusion, and it's serious.

Sincerely with Respect [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/happy.png[/smilie]

All I know is when I run into noobs like this on 360 I report them and avoid them as to never play with them again. I can't wait for the massive ban of Bioware/Microsoft/Sony for the cheaters.

The truly galling thing is the fact that these cheats seem to think they are above the law. They can only be compared with locusts; moving from one game to another, exploiting it for all its' worth before moving onto the next victim.

EA have the ability to enforce full and permanent persona bans, which would prevent these clowns from accessing the online features for a whole host of games like BattleField, Crysis, FIFA, Madden, FIFA Street etc. I genuinely hope they exercise their right to do this; not that I expect they will.

im not entirely sure its an issue on the PS3. i havent seen, come across or heard of one person doing it on the PS3, and if it is as bad as people say it is i would have thought all the hours i have spent on it i would have come across something by now. plus im not exactly sure how they would track people on the PS3 since its very apparent that they dont have any access to our data.

im pretty sure they have received multiple PMs about how to do it. my best guess is that you need to wait for the first formal patch to fix this problem so some patience is required.

Kinda remember me of the 10th prestige glitch in Modern Warfare 2... Personnally, I report them to never have to play with them again.
Nothing better than having your own team of friends to destroy the enemy

i wouldnt be surprised to find out Ephidiel used real money. seriously if everybody here was telling the truth about buying those packs then they wouldnt exist because barely anybody would buy them. i have a feeling that a lot of people who talk about how stupid it is to buy the packs probably dropped some change themselves. micro transactions  dont exist because everybody thinks its stupid afterall.

Well,--Frontline-- I do not condone cheating, but I have been informed of this glitch many times, and I have some thoughts. One, is that it is not cheating, it is exploiting. Yes, it sucks that there has been no actions to resolve the issue yet, and thus we do see lvl 25 N7 ratings with multi lvl N7 weapons, but I don't believe that there needs to be permabans for actions that aren't any form of modifications or hacking. A patch is a fair solution. I think that standards need to be in place for each kind of non-intended game play. Yes, there is one for "Cheating" on the forums by Bioware, but some of these people genuinely think they are not cheating. To my knowledge, they still have to play legit portions of the game to achieve it. The fact that they found a way to save themselves a little time of their lives and not waste any money is a perk. In reference to OP, why would you spend that much money, and gamble at the chance to have superior weapons in a game mode that is not competitive? There is nothing to gain from playing multiplayer except a slight meta story and GAW stats. Now I understand not wanting to be left behind, and I spent somewhere around $32.00, but we all know that we shouldn't have fallen for the bait. We ourselves had undermined the initial purpose of the mp experience; teamwork. By purchasing overpowered weapons, what kind of experience do you think we gave our friends or randoms? This was part of the plan. Other people want to be top dog so they buy the packs at any cost as well. I'm not upset that I spent money while others attempt to gain easy credits. They are doing the same thing as we are. Saving time in this world. Was it right? Probably not. How should we react? By remedying the situation, and preparing for the next problem. Until then, we all must unite or the Galaxy will fall. Think of the exploiters as Aria's renegade factions that fight dirty. (Blue Suns, Blood Pack, and Eclipse) We are the Alliance; standing for honor and pride. Together, we fight making our community strong, and achieving our goals. (Comm Challenges) Again, I don't like that this is happening.

Sure, don't permaban them, just take away all their equipment and unlocks and reset them to level one.

Why on Earth would you not agree with a permaban? If a player is pro-actively searching for ways to exploit loopholes in games, then the chances are they do the exact same thing with any other game they play.

Ergo, they are cheaters. Cheaters don't deserve the right to play online and enjoy the MP experience in any way, shape or form. Simple.

It's like you said though.  They will move onto the next game, and probably by the time Biware or EA comes around to doing something about it.  I've met tons of new friends with this mp experience that don't cheat.  H***, I've never even met cheaters in this game yet. (knock on wood)  I don't see how some people are finding them so much.  I play everyday for about five hours.  A third of that time is with randoms, and the rest with my new squadmates.  Don't you guys have people you can play with legitly so you can get that sour taste out of your mouths?

I agree with this, as long as the banhammer is applied to the obvious repeat offenders, not just those who joined a game and didn't realize it was a round 10 exploit team until they were already involved.

First off, hahahahahahahhahahahhahahahhahahhahahahhahahhahahahhahah
Secondly, ahahahahahahahahhahh.. hahahhah hah!
Okay, now that is out of the way,
How is buying spec packs any different from farming 40k+ credits every 4 minutes?
Both are ways that allow you to get spec packs in less time and one of these doesn't require you to play mp.
You just happen to be unfortunate enough to have done the more costly of the two ways to get spec paks quicker.
Third, they are aware, but they would rather try and solve victory/commendation glitch (unsuccessfully by the way) rather than fix a problem that has been present SINCE THE DEMO.
Fourth, make some friends, yeah you are gonna have to plug in that mic that came with your xbox/ps3 (are you on computer, that's just sad) and be sociable, this is multiplayer after all, and a coop game, so communication was highly intended. Those friends you make are going to be those that share your disgust of glitching.

Don't be jealous of cheaters, just play the game fairly and do not play with cheaters
