Please explain?  You guys are behaving as though I am a cheater.  The reason I chose to speak here was that it seems to be a lot of closeminded oppositions.  Feelings of "Cheating is bad.  Kill them" when it would appear that there are more reasons to explain here other than "D***, I wasted money. Now I'm really pissed!"

Well the system does encourage cheating given that after a gold game there's always the question of whether you'll actually receive any xp or credits. I also feel silver difficulty should be brought down a bit for those of us stuck playing with randoms, and bronze should give slightly more credits per match.

I kind of doubt whether those playing honestly with neither cheating nor money spent would ever get to see the coveted Black Widow in their inventory.

Yea, I still don't have a black widow, in fact I've only had 3 black unlocks and there's others that have had even worse luck. Fortunately I've already unlocked what I really wanted(graal, claymore, shotgun blade attachment and salarian infiltrator) and am free to enjoy my preferred playstyle.

If you think semantics is going to stop EA/BW from dropping the banhammer on people abusing this, you've got another thing coming. 

If people don't think there are going to be consequences for using this exploit consider this: why would someone spend real money to purchase packs if a glitch exists that is an efficient alternative to using real money.  It's pretty clear a microtransactional business model is the basis for continued multiplayer support in this game.

Trust me as someone who works for a large corporation-- you don't f*ck with a revenue stream for a company like EA and not suffer consequences.

It'd be nice if they did something about this. I'm not gonna bother, though. All I ever seem to get from packs are damn character cards, rendering credits pretty much worthless until they change the drop rate a bit.

Spending so much money on co-op, of all things, is just beyond silly. You could buy two brand new games with that. The glitchers will suffer anyway (money spenders too, actually). Why? Because part of the fun of co-op is unlocking all the equipment by yourself.
It's extremely satisfying to get a kickass weapon in your pack after a tough game of gold, and you feel like you've accomplished something. This drives you to play on.
What fun is there in sweating the glitch non stop and getting a Black Widow X within a day, or indeed, spending 100 dollars, euro, whatever for the same result? There is no fun in that. What incentive are you gonna have to play the game after all your equipment is on X? Getting your rank up? Please....
In the end, glitchers are just as bad as the large money spenders, and both need to go away. OP, please stop whining about not having fun and being angry at the glitchers, because if you played the game normally (ie. without spending money) and just ignored them, you wouldn't have any problem.

the credit farming glitch is not cheating, ppl who say it is are just mad because they don't have the balls to do it themselves because they are afraid of the ban hammer.....

btw, i personally have not done the glitch, but know ppl who are doing it.

if they want to do it, it doesn't ruin my gaming experience. i neither pay real money for packs (morons) or do the glitch, i just play the game and save my credits up.

if we take a page from bungie and halo reach, credit farming is not cheating and doesn't warrant a perma-ban. its an exploit, a loophole, thats all, as someone said earlier, a simple patch to fix it is fair enough.

remember, ppl still have to play the game to achieve this exploit....not having to play it at all is cheating.

instead of arguing mindlessly and pointlessly about the issue how about using that energy to find out if.....

one... are they going to fix this
two... are there really going to be bans.

seriosly this thread has annoyed me. how can anyone condone cheating on a currency based game. All people that have taken part in this exploit on regular basis should be permabanned :@

Absolutely. "Punishing EA for unethical acts" is in no way a justification for participating in unethical acts. At the end of the day, you're still unethical and looking for a way to transparently obviate your own guilt.

A small group of people narcissistically wanting to control others because they feel their "moral code" is breached by the actions of said others whom don't even know, have minimal contact with, and by whom they have suffered no tangible or quantifiable harm from...um yeah. I'm curious how those individuals feel they have the right to tell people how to play and enjoy their personal copy of a game. It boils down to people demonising actions they are not directly or even indirectly effected by, they just disagree with it on a personal and ethical level. However I bet those same people have used at one time or another at least one glitch, cheat or exploit for a game, most people do simple things to exploit the programming of a game by playing in a way which manipulates enemy AI to give them more favorable odds.

More than likely they are simply going to either decide that the glitch keeps people more happy then it displeases and therefore more makes those pleased willing to purchase EA and/or Bioware products in the future, or they are going to decide it costs them money and remove it. It's unlikely they are going to ban people for using the exploit that's it's in the game existing programming. Calling it 'cheating' doesn't suddenly make it a hack or mod. If they were going to ban people, they would have come right out and said it, because that covers their bases from a legal stand point. It's also unlikely they are going to reset anyone's account for doing it either, cause it's a slippery slope of potential legal battles if they reset the account of anyone who unwilling used the glitch or who spent real life cash on the game.

So the majority thinks cheating and exploiting is totally ok and the minority are a buncha whining nubs. I get it now.

So people can either spend RL cash, grind legit, or use an exploit to get 1 mill plus an hour without fear of punishment, unlike other MP games where they ban your butt. Choices! No wonder most are sploiting, they aint doing nothing about it. Suppose the real nubs are the people like me who are NOT abusing it. For shame.
