Amazon had some last time I checked. Personally I went with the Digital CE. Cloth maps as of late have been of a pathetic thread-loose quality and making of DVDs good for a single viewing and don't really including anything you're not gonna see online anyway.



I still get all the content with the digital download, the sound track, even a "discount" on the DLC stuff and I get it the day the game comes out instead of a few days later at my expense (shipping costs).

Yea, I went with the EA Store for now, but I'm really thinking about going with the digital download, since you get the Warden's Keep for free, and you can just borrow the dvd from a friend, or your friendly search engine .

I got mine pre ordered from amazon a week ago. Also if you get the normal edition you get a $10 off gift card with you next purchase of a video game from amazon

Well, I checked Amazon today before posting and all they have is a link to notify you when this product "becomes available".

I agree about some cloth map offerings. Neverwinter Nights was pathetic but the recent Lord of the Rings Online: Moria expansion was pretty good.  I like haning them up in my "gaming room" to put me in the mood lol.

And, I just recently re-watched my "Making Of dvd" for Elder Scrolls Oblivion and saw that Jeff Green (former EIC of Game For Windows magazine) made an appearance.  Didn't know who he was the first time I watched it.
Guess I am easily amused lol.

I asked about the CE at one of the GameStops near my house and the associate told me "They took it out of the system". I guess that means they are all out of it from preorders

Good to know.  I went ahead and placed my order with the EA store.  Nothing told me it wasn't available and one of their web pages said "Order Now While Supplies Last" so hoping I'm still in the running lol.

I still have yet to pre order Dragon Age: Origins.
I plan to pre order the CE, idk if I will get the digital version or the physical copy.
I will probably pre order it this week. Hopefully there are still some CEs around then lol.

Well you never know, there could be a Steam Digital Deluxe that you can download... and possibly preload. ;p

any idea on the availability of the Collector's Editionfor those of us not in North America or Europe? (in my case, Australia.) I know we're at the mercy of the intricacies of distribution and so forth, but it seems we get forgotten down here... (must be the strings and tin cans we use for our internet setups...)

The collectors edition in Australia is exactly the same as the North American one. Presently i believe both EB games and JB HiFi are taking preorders.

I am wondering if anyone knows if the Soundtrack will be available for purchase separately if you do not get the CE? I am in a similar boat: Do not want to buy CE just to pay for it to be shipped here extra fast (I'm too impatient ), would rather be able to pick it up at a store. The game looks great!

I've just pre-ordered the Dragon Age: Origins Digital Deluxe Edition on the EA store.

But this is the first time I ever bought a digital version and the first time I bought something on the EA store. So I would like to ask you guys who have bought there before, when will I be able to download it? And will I get some kind of e-mail with the activation code or something? I would appreciate a short explanation.

I managed to get mine pre-ordered at the nearest Gamestop here for PC when they first announced the CE. Since then they've stopped taking preorders for the CE, so I'm definitely glad I remembered to snag mine.

I pre-ordered my CE from GameStop, August 1st.  My order is still showing CE edition and everything's fine.
