Say no to extending a crappy ending.

Are there going to be more/different endings or ending DLCs in the future?
No. BioWare strongly believes in the team's artistic vision for the end of this arc of the Mass Effect franchise. The extended cut DLC will expand on the existing endings, but no further ending DLC is planned.

Quoted from the sticky. HELL NO. HELL no.

It's not even extending any gameplay or decision making, nothing changed. It is just going to be a cutscene? IT theory? No, wrong.

Oh, we're gonna get some EPILOGUE text at the end? Instead of them actually fixing this terrible ending? hahahaha, hahahahah lmfaooo.

Clearly we weren't. This is pandering to those who wanted "more" Mass Effect, not those that didn't want to submit to the RGB ending's logic which is why we weren't heard.

Did you people really think they would erase and completely redo the entire ending sequence? Like, really?

If the rEApers are trying to harvest their fans with DLC, BSN must stop them. If we wait for Bioware or Casey D Hudson to act... no more fans will be left.

Why not? DLC's have hours of gameplay in them. The ending was about 30 minutes long.

It's that bad. They can change it if they want.

They will never change the end. They will only "better it". I guess that's enough for me. I wasn't expecting brilliance.

Can't speak for anyone else, but did I think they would?  No.  Should they?  Yes.  Salvaging that refuse would be like trying to salvage something that is FUBAR'd.  Sometimes you just have to let it go and do something different.

Sure, but for free?

Honestly? If they can't do it, fine. I just wish Bioware would man up about it, and show that they did understand why the ending was disliked and possibly take that feedback into account for future franchises. At the moment what's happening is an evasion of the issue, they're assuming we're spoilt kids who can't "let go" of Mass Effect, so they give us more epilogues and spoonfeeding about our crewmembers, instead of accepting that forcing us to co-operate with the Reaper's leader and his narrow minded solutions went against what many of our Shepard's stood by and worked for throughout the trilogy. All that's asked is to be "llistened" to, so we as fans/consumers can have some more faith in the brand, and instead they mischaracterize and pretend they did good by us. That's the problem.

Oh, and all the lies. That too.

Yes free damnit. We already paid for this game did we not ? Why don't we deserve a proper ending? Endings that justify mass effects lore and guidelines. HOLD THE LINE.

What really worries me is the fact that they "listened" at all. Once they end the franchise in such a way, why not simply kill it?

Don't let idealism blind you. Complaining is the surest way for us to ensure fanbase dominance. Against the rEApers and beyond.

Changing the ending would mean they would actually have to admit they messed up...not going to happen. Extended cut sounds like they'll add deleted scenes and perhaps a few new ones (not too many...if it's free) and that will be it...it was the most I expected.

Oh well, sucks for them, especially since they're just going to rekindle the protests when the DLC comes out and people are severely disappointed with the result. Either way, I'll just keep laughing as EA's stock keeps falling. I'll laugh up to the point that EA crashes and burns.
