Don't forget your father's letter if you are a dwarf noble, where he clearly says that Bhelen shouldn't ever get to the throne. And besides, even if you place Harrowmont to the throne as dwarf noble, it says that you should be the next king/queen in line, if something happens to Harrowmont. Or so I understand it...

Nope! You are an outcast, You don't exist as a dwarf! Not in Orzammar, You are plainly a "Grey Warden" You are NOT an Aeducan anymore, You've been stricken from the femily records, e3rased from the memories, You are a non-person! Such rarely are in line for a throne... :bandit:

Bhelen is a twit! He's a kinslayer and probably guilty of regicide aswell...
Harrowmont is a "righteous" dude... As far as DWARVES see it, the Assembly  and Nobles anyhow, since he cements their noble rights!
That's the appearance at the beginning...
The common dwarves *most of the dwarven race*^will however fare much better under Bhelen, who after becoming king becomes a righteous ruler, against Tyranny *well right after chopping harrys head off ofc* and for more equality and trade, Harry will drive Orzammar further into isolation even closing totally from the surface... Killing defenseless priests et al... So the "evil" choice ends up being the "good" one... Nice twist:lol:

Can someone please point out to me what Harrowmont has going for him other than he's a nice guy? Seriously, listen to the criers, talk to the people, Bhelen is favored like 10 -1. The commonors support him because he's marrying one and will expand rights (a good thing), the shop keepers love him because he want's expanded trade with the surface (a good thing), the warrior caste and legion of dead love him because he can be ruthless when he needs to be and the Aeducan's have a history of military greatness (a good thing). Quite literally, all Bhelen did wrong was properly play the "game of thrones" as it were of the dwarven kingdom. You get a dialogue option where you say as much, and when recruited by Duncan he flat out tells you the same thing. "The brutal intrigue of the dwarven court strikes again." It's no surprise Bhelen set you up, in fact, it was expected that sooner or later on or another of you would betray the others.

Harrowmont might be a nice guy, but Bhelen clearly has the support of a far larger number of people in Orzammar and will do much more to bring it forward.

p.s. Someone mentioned something about changing Harrowmont's ending, from what I understood the ending isn't good regardless of what you do in Orzammar.

Giving lord Harrowmont the anvil allows him to annihilate the Rioters in support of bhelen and keep control of the city, None of Harrowmonts endings are particularly dynamic but as long as he keeps the city under control until my dwarf noble takes over its all good Image IPB
