Maybe I'm missing something with this ability, but when I shoot at phantoms (who are standing still) CS does nothing at all, not even a stagger. I was under impression this ability is supposed to be 'effective vs barriers', at least according to ingame description of this power. So, what the hell? Lag isn't the issue  because everything else works as it should. Difficulty also doesn't matter, tested this on both silver and gold (didn't bother with bronze).

Phantoms tend to become invulnerable sometimes. Not sure if it is a glitch or a power, but keep spamming CS and it works effectively even on Gold. I have a soldier build which has a very fast recharge time for CS (around 1,5 seconds), and it tears Phantoms apart with the help of the Avenger X.

No, they are definitely not immune (due to sync bug) because I can still hurt them with assault rifle fire, but CS simply does _nothing_ on barrier. I was wondering if it's perhaps because I took damage vs organics as last tier talent (the other one is supposed to be broken anyway)?

Phantoms seem to have an ability whereby they block/catch incoming powers with their outstretched hand. Phantoms will stand still with their hand outstretched when they are using this power, and you can observe a small biotic sphere in their palm to indicate that your power has just been "caught". They are still damageable by weapons during this phase, it is only powers that they can block/catch. I'm not certain, but they may only be able to block powers which have a travel time, as opposed to instant-impact powers. I wish I had more info to give. I hope this helps.

I personally call it the "Please headshot me" stance.

Thanks, this actually makes sense. I haven't been able to reliable test CS vs them when they are in cover, because CS always seems to hit the edges of the cover they're hiding behind :<. Guess I'll try bullet hose + CS spam approach next, to see how it works. Out of curiosity, how many blocks of barrier is CS supposed to take off on gold?

I think my overload and energy drain work on the phantom when it's doing that.

Seems like you tend to run into the bad luck of the phantom using her biotic field that protects her from being stunned/fparalyzed. I hate it when she does that. :crying:

I have made these iron Woman fall over with concussive shot plenty of times though. they seem to use their protective bubbles most on Gold.

Just think the phantoms are weaker versions of that one boss from the campaign .....
