This basicly how the endding to Mass Effect 3 is being recieved and I doubt that 'extending' or 'clarifing' this ending will solve anything.

someone that crashes down from space, through earth's orbit is DEAD. no matter how many teasing breath scenes they implement. then again, space magic allowed him to breath in space so who's to say space magic won't also protect shepard when he crashes down through the atmosphere

No. BioWare strongly believes in the team's artistic vision for the end of this arc of the Mass Effect franchise. The extended cut DLC will expand on the existing endings, but no further ending DLC is planned."
Seriously? So instead of adding something your consumers want (an ending that isn't complete ****), you just add insult to injury?
BRAVO BIOWARE! How do you like being part of the most hated company this year? You certainly deserved it!

Dear BioWare,
the artistic vision of your team corrupts and
breaks the narrative coherence of the triology. That is the central
critical failure of the games ending and it's been adressed and
explained many times over. Yet, it get's not resolved. A nonsensical and
illogical conclusion, represented by the character of Starchild, can
not be brought in line with the established lore of the franchise and
can not present continuity or closure to the audiance, no matter how
much clarification you put into it.
As this character alone is
symptomatic for the most essential cause of our dissatisfaction with the
games ending, the decision to keep him and his "solutions" (which are
also illogical and nonsensical) does not make us believe you "listened"
to us. In fact, it shows the very opposite.
As you value your
"artistic vision", even if it clearly breaks a central aspect of the
franchise and the the artwork as a whole, over the perception of your
customers, you encourage us to not purchase future Mass Effect or
BioWare productions. I will regard it further as an "informed customer
decision" that BioWare products are not meant to entertain me, but to
present and enforce a childish and in parts utterly stupid artistic
experiment on me.
Thanks no. My money is better invested in other companies.
Couldn't have put it better myself.

This. I will hold my judgement until the EC is out, but this Bioware statement has not managed to ease my concerns.
Funny, before the game came out I was the "shut up and take my money" Fry. Now I look at all the merchandise I was going to buy, thinking: "mehhh..."
ME used to be something positive to me. Now it's sullied by all this BS. The ending was bad enough, but the way Bioware has decided to deal with this plus all the "entitled whiny nerds" stuff going on has made me connect ME and Bioware with some very unfortunate feelings. I don't want to touch their stuff because of that, not because I'm boycotting or something. My interest is just dropping and I'm not sure if it can be recovered. Free DLC sure as heck isn't going to do it.

Or even better Sarumans ghost appears in the Sam/Frodo/Gollum fight inside Mount Doom and takes the Ring. After that Gollum Sam and Frodo are escaping on the Eagle and crash landing in some forest. Black screen credits. After that old Middleearth geezer I´ll tell you another story about the Frodo.

Remember how this ending pissed off many fans, and Peter Jackson told them off by waving his "This is Art" card, which can be used to justify anything and everything? And then people just went off discussing the definition of art and how whiny and entitled the audience is for complaining and not understanding the Great Vision of the director.
Oh, wait. That didn't actually happen. Because that would be just silly.

'Mass Effect 3' Ending: Bioware, EA Guilty Of False Marketing? Legal Repercussions?
In a recent article from the Better Business Bureau (BBB), the organization argues that Bioware and EA are indeed guilty of false advertising, though they make no conclusive statements regarding whether this might have legal repercussions.

Some how I can't imagine the Reapers will stop slaughtering everyone, just because you closed the gap between synthetic and organic life.

Simple the Reapers laughing themselves to death after seeing green glowy chars exiting the Normandy.

I'm not happy with the ending but at least at its current state it gives me enough freedom to come up with my own version of "what came after".
Giving us additional scenes is great, any additional ME content is great in my book. However, I'm afraid that a more clear ending will just cement some things that are currently ambiguous, and that I would like to ignore, like Shepard's death and Normandy crew being stranded far away from Shepard. I don't want my character's death or their split from LI be forced on me. It is a game of choice after all.
Otherwise I'm really looking forward to it. I sincerely hope Bioware will deliver.

they wont. they'll add another problem that "a newly created pure organic race will slaughter the hybrids". then, they'll create pure organic reapers.

Because starturd created the Reapers, synthetics, to destroy organics before they could build their own synthetics to destroy themselves. See, the green magic ending turns EVERYONE, Reapers included, into a generic combo meal of organic and synthetic. Everyone can hold hands (or tenticles) and sing songs. Reapers are like humans are like asari are like Geth are like krogan, etc.
