And a good idea that is :). Loved the second game, didn't completely complete the first one, just did the key missions. Might have to redo that and get the full experience :D.

This is highly recommended. The ending as it stands is a real deal breaker. i had honestly never thought another game series could dethrone Fable for horrid endings but ME 3 in its final minutes was truly something else. It can destroy your adoration for the series like it did mine.

To put this in perspective for you, I had beaten the first game 18 times with various character lines setup and carried these on the ME2. Played the online and ios games and was stoked about the series up until "star child" portion. Just like a number of others, I can't even bring myself to play any of the games now. It's not really worth it.

Crashing reports follow Mass Effect 3 patch

http://www.mcvuk.com...-3-patch/094283

Endings sucked, lots of bugs. Come out with a patch and patch has bugs. NO THIS GAME WAS NOT RUSHED, QUICK PUMP MULTIPLAYER WEEKEND.

cant believe anybody clapped for Bioware at pax, must have been employees in crowd.

at least max payne 3 will come out and i hope this will not have a non sense ending like this. because i highly doubt that rockstar will deliver a extended DLC to finish off MP3. so this will keep me busy. but im also done with bioware, or basically any games with a €A logo on it.
just extending a ending which everyone hates and doesnt makes sense is clearly a wrong move. protecting the artistic vision my ass. what so artistic about it which doesnt make any f****** sense.

The response from Bioware reminds me of Oliver Stone' comments about Alexander. The film was universally panned. Stone made comments to the effect that the fans were too stupid to understand his artistic vision and if they were smarter they would have understood what a great film he made.....
Not much, relatively speaking,  from Mr. Stone since then......
Bioware should pay attention to upset fans.....

BioWare has called out Sony for failing to approve Multiplayer Challenge events for PlayStation 3 Mass Effect 3 players.

http://www.computera...lenges-for-ps3/

Bioware tries to shift criticizing heat towards sony.

Bioware/EA, if you insist on staying with this Artistic Integrity stance, you should remember, there are a lot of starving artists in the world. If you want to join them, keep making "art" that your customers/fans do not want.

I agree. The ending is simply terrible. I can only echo what countless others have said. The ending as it stands now simply kills the whole trilogy. This proposed closure is nice but does not deal with the real problem.

I still play MP but I am considering stopping that out of principle and uninstalling both ME3 and Origin.

"If you feel that your investment was properly returned in the poor quality of the ending of Mass Effect 3, then I will happily sell you a car a friend of mine has. The gas gauge doesn't work, so I drew you one in crayon. The speedometer is stuck, so I put in a chalkboard so you can write in how fast you think you are going (Speculation for everyone!). If you don't like it, in 3 months I'll draw you a gas gauge in magic marker and upgrade your chalkboard to a Lite-Brite. "

Wow, so the last few weeks I've been reading all kinds of articles about ME3, EA, and BioWare. One thing is clear: they have a big ol' boatload of unhappy fans.

Sad thing is, with Madden and FIFA I doubt the RPG crowd's mass exodus will affect EA. But it'll probably hurt BioWare something fierce.

I understand that there were too many choices in the series to have an ending that accounted for all of them. I get that.

But BioWare, please listen. I'm begging you as a fan of DA and ME, just upgrade the ending to where Shep does not capitulate. That ought to solve the biggest problem.

The in game dialogue and drama are second to none. (in both series) But I'm very much on the fence as to purchasing your next product. You still have the chance to reel me back in. And you have the chance to make me walk, just as easily.
