But as a maker of games, they are supposed to make most people happy.  It sure as heck doesn't seem that way to me.

Actually, that's incorrect. They're supposed to make a product people will buy, not to "make people happy". Convince you to buy this game (and all related merchandise) and the next one. It is easier to achieve this instead of "happiness for everyone".

So are we getting any specific details about this DLC? Or are we supposed to wait until June? I already waited enough for ME3 I can't believe I have to wait more.

This is the link I suggest to Bioware to use. Since they do not want to give us the multiple endings.

Bellow I have added some links to some youtube videos explainning many of flaws in the Mass Effect 3 ending. As  these video's piont out "choice, closure and clarity" are some of the minor problems. If you haven't seen these yet, check them out.

I just showed a friend of mine (gamer, but doesn't like mass effect and only played ME2 because I talked him into it) some ending videos (nut the judgemental type, but the simple playthroughs, beste ending etc). He was appalled, and then he laughed (first when the elevator takes you up and then when I showed him the video with all six cinematics side by side).
After that he really felt sorry for me, because he knows how much I love(d) this series.

Woot, I'm Shepard and some strange guy I've never seen (plus some guy in comments) gave me an A, B, C ending:
A. Keep buying and hope for the best, fear the worst (Control)
B. Stop buying EA and hope they do a complete overhaul (Synthesis)
C. Stop buying Bioware and kill it, or hope they get one last chance with proper resources (Destroy)

I want a better ending for myself!

Happy with their purchase, not physically happy. Although, that doesn't hurt either.

Good job misinterpreting the sentence.

I agree with pointless spamming. Bioware will do something about it...but the ending still resulted in a lot of distrust and grief....which is understandable for the ME Gamer.

However I think it would be a very bad position for Bioware to openly admit they made a mistake...the reason why is shareholder confindence would go down...after all why make a product and say it's going to be great and then a few weeks after the release date go "oh btw we ****ed up...sorry can you forgive us?" From a business prospect this would be worse then not saying anything at all.

People who complain the most often don't have anything else better to do and are broke bum's living in their parents basement.

That being said I support an extended ending or "closure ending" but those who get angry about this and attack others are wrong.

Stay classy people.

All this Bioware made a mistake stuff is kind of thin, especially when there are a lot of people who were fine with the ending. So then they decide they'll give out a free DLC to expand on the ending and then BSN folks are like 'BW is being desperate because they know the end was a mistake.' Just stop already. And dare I say it, be patient for the ending DLC. And be nice to everyone, including BW employees. Yeesh.

It didn't. The Arrival ending showed an active Mass Relay being ruptured by the impact of a massive asteroid, and therefore going supernova

The ending on the other hand showed the relays expelling their energy in the beam of light before going inactive and then dismantling. This has even been officially explained

Ever heard from "The Law of Conservation of Energy"? A Mass Relay stores an incredible amount of energy. What happend to that energy? Sended to the next Relay? Okay lets assume it. Then this Relay would go supernova right after the beam hits it.

It does not matter if n asteroid crashes into a relay or explode through overloading. Energy can be neither created nor destroyed.

Edit (SPOILERS!): Mass Relay "dismantled" :)

Dragon age 2 was a flop, Star Wars the Old Rebuplic was a flop. You'r holding onto Mass effect 3 yet putting your own selfishness in the way! Please just listen to us before your company gets destroyed!

I'm not saying I'm an expert, because I'm really not. There's a reason I only took physics for a year in college Posted Image
I'm just repeating what a Bioware rep stated in another thread (don't ask me to find it 'cause I have no idea where it was)

Dragon Age 2 wasn't a flop, it had some poor design choices (wave combat and recycled dungeons are the biggest, both fixed in two excellent DLCs) but many people enjoyed it none the less, me included, to the degree that I enjoy it more than Origins actually

SWTOR was DEFINATELY not a flop, it is currently the second most succesful pay to play MMO on the market, and all the signs point towards it growing and not declining, so I have no idea where you got the idea that these two titles were flops from

Yeah. I know this statement too. A Fan had interviewed Patrick Weekes at the PAX.
I respect Mr. Weekes for what he had contributed to the Mass Effect franchise,
but his explanation sounds... not well-conceived.
