The only problem some people have with the ending is the plot holes that were left.  If Bioware fixes this I think alot of people would be much happier.

These people are few, far between.

Best bet: Unless you're going a full extra few missions with IT; just scrap the whole thing.

Your fans will thank you.

Excuse me? Do not speak for all fans as that would be the point I stop believing in Bioware.

What makes me mad about what Bioware has done to it's fans is that they had built up a strong bond of trust between themselves and their fan base prior to ME3 coming out. Some people may say our expectations were too high and they couldn't possibly come out with something to please everyone and some people are saying the endings "you know screw that, it was one ending in 3 different color schemes", weren't that bad and we need to shut up and get a life. Yeah, it's just a game and we shouldn't get too hung up on it like it's the end of the world, BUT...we trusted Bioware to do the right thing with this series. They had credibility, they've been around a while and have made some really good games. It's not like they were an unknown company, we picked up a game from them which is fairly decent and the ending was a little hokey; we wouldn't care as much if that were so. We'd kick oursleves a bit for picking up a lousy game.  But Bioware was like a friend to us and it's reputation to come through with a killer, epic product was to be expected, which I thought the game was until the ending. And that is where our anger is stemming from.  Our trusted friend Bioware has essentially betrayed the fan base and now they are saying they stand by their product and they will meet us half way with this free (not free = immediate company suicide) DLC Extended Cut to provide "closure" (to what I'm not sure) as if we are wrong in condemning it to begin with. Sheer arrogance and I believe this will be their ultimate downfall.  We're in shock that they would do this to us. Shock turned to disbelief at what we first witnessed in the ending, turning to confusion, to anger and now distrust of future Bioware products.  In my opinion. the ending seemed pretty obvious in what happened despite the many plot holes.  They aren't changing anything about it, just expanding on it.  So what we all witnessed in the ending we can pretty much expect to be what has really happend.  Yeah it sucks big time.  What more closure could they possibly implement? Point being, Bioware has broken that trust bond and lost all credibility with a major portion of its fan base, like a best friend stabbing you in the back.

The more you read about this and some cryptic Bioware comments you realize the EC is probably not a good idea. I doubt its going to do much other than feel like the true afterthought it is.

I don't see what a good a cut scene is going to do to slow this thread down. Any DLC that has ANY influence on the ending plot should be free. If there is an ME4 that expands on this story arc... in one way great, but it still shows how weak me3 is.

Basically this game is screwed and they will most likely just need to move on. I hope I'm wrong and they have some genuine stuff coming for it, but i doubt it.

I seriously hope everyone on here and myself will have to swallow with diginity every negative thing we are saying about Bioware, I really hope that will be the case.  I don't believe there will be an ME4 since Bioware has mentioned this was a triology.  The game has been out just shy of two months and everyone has been ripping the ending to shreds, only because we care about it so much.  If Bioware somehow just got lazy and stopped caring as they reached the conclusion to this series, then we have every right to raise a fuss.  We poured so much of ourselves, along with Bioware, into this series creating our character's stories.  This isn't just Bioware's game, it belongs to all of us.  Our voice should matter and I don't know if Bioware was asking for suggestions for ME3 game content the fans wanted to see, but I think that would have been a great idea.  I do know fans were dropping hints all over the internet about what they wanted.  Everything seemed rushed at the end leading to a complete trainwreck and Bioware keeps saying over and over; "no new endings", "we are proud of our artistic vision".  Are they seriously that arrogant to ignore our feedback, or are they covering up and biding their time for some big magic card up their sleeve?  Time will tell. I still don't have any good expectations for the Extended Cut, but again I really hope I will eat those words one day.

Dont know if this has been said already but i would like for the last talk with Liara where she shows you her memory's to show like flashes of her major history or something other then just darkness with Liara and Shep standing around. feels like a bit of a waste that bit.

I don't think that might happen. What Bioware stated was that they will expand on the ending, that Liara sequence isn't the ending of the game.
Many people want things changed in the London mission, but mark my words, they won't alter that level.

I think, what they will do is let everything playout exactly the same as before. But after you see the normandy strand, they will ad more cutscenes to show you what happenend to everybody else you care about.

I think the EC will be a total waste of time, because they won't alter the ending but just expand it.
It's like polishing a turd. You can give it a shine, but ultimatly it remains a turd.

I would advise everybody the following: Don't get your hopes up. It's not gonna be great, it won't satisfie us (seeing as there won't be any gameplay), you don't get to fight harbinger and de IT is not true. Bioware themselfs have already said so.

End of the day, Bioware's writing team just screwed up and they won't admid it.

I missed the part where its been announced to be "just cut scenes". I was under the impression there would be expanded dialogue trees, and with the time its taking I wouldn't be surprised if there we're extra bits. BioWare may have botched the end of ME3, but they aren't stupid. I'm still going to enjoy the Trilogy regardless, but I'd like to think BioWare still cares. The Extended Cut is proof of that in itself. They could so easily say "it is what it is, deal with it", but they haven't. They are trying to find a middle ground with the fans, and I think they'll try their damndest to make it work. I can't blame them for not wanting to retcon the entire ending, and I think those asking for that clearly don't care about BioWare as people. It hurts to be told you're useless and that you've ****ed up, but at least they've got the balls to attempt to please the fans.

Maybe I'm a silly optimist, bu I'm really looming forward to the EC. BioWare have proven that they can get it right (just look at ME1/2), and I have faith they can fix this. I just think some people are a bit unreasonable in the scope of how they want it fixed.

Took this:

What is BioWare adding to the ending with the Extended Cut DLC?
BioWare
will expanding on the ending to Mass Effect 3 by creating additional
cinematics and epilogue scenes to the existing ending sequences. The
goal of these new scenes is to provide additional clarity and closure to
Mass Effect 3.

From here:

http://social.biowar...ndex/11028261/1

No mention of added dialoge, just epilogue sequences. In other words perhaps we see more cinematics when the colors go flying, and more context to why the normandy crash lands, etc. But I don't think there will be new dialogue.

Sorry mate, sometimes you should take things at face value.:crying:

No hard feelings offcourse:D

Then explain Shepards blue glowing eyes (just like Saren's eyes or TIM's) after you choose Synthesis or Control

In Synthesis might be Shep's implants, due to his energy conversion to spread across the galaxy. In Control, however...

I highly doubt that Shepard's glowing eyes are implants. Look at pictures below
