The Crucible did it...you can't explain it.

I've watched some of their press conferences, publications etc. and prevailing sentences are: "We (Bioware) are listening to you. We want your input. We want your feedback."
Even first of the forums story threads opened by Bioware is named "On the Mass Effect 3 endings. Yes, we are listening".
All that looks a bit suspicious to me. Maybe we are all part of something totally unprecedented in gaming history.

I swear someone mentioned that Bioware said the Mass Reays are still intact. Anyone confirm this please?
I believe that Patrick Weekes from the dev team said in an unofficial interview that the Mass Relays did not so much as blow up but got overloaded. So yeah, they're probably still intact but non-functional.

hi.I think Popscicle fell into same trap as I did regarding Paragon/Renegade ending choice. You see:they are not good or evil morally :they represent only Shepards point of view. in Polish -I am Polish-it was translated as Idealist and Realist which I think represent ingame choices much better.remember how many actions in all 3games are shown as red but really are not evil. so i think Bioware set a trap for us at the end.or should I say Harbinger did...
Idealist and Realist sound so much better when I think about it. I stuck to Paragon because it always seemed the right choice, only picking Renegade about 4 times over the entire series.
What would have been awesome, is if the best ending (if there were multiple endings) was a Neutral choice you could only get if you had level Paragon/Renegade.

One question for all ME fans... Do you feel like Bioware intentionally made this kind of unfinished ending so they put all community on edge? So they can get all fans talking and shooting ideas about the ending of the ME? So they can harvest our imagination and ideas and consolidate that in much more sensible end of the series.

Hi. I do, at least partially,-I mean I do not think gamer's opinions will change planned ending (Shepard 's fate) but some minor things we will see in cutscenes.
other explanation is very depressing but I cannot exclude it
I do not think it was a good idea though, an EA may pay for it in the end very dearly. If I buy an expensive game (CE) I expect to get it finished, bug free.

No, they ALL went kaput in all 3 endings but none with the catastrophic effects like what happend in the Arrival DLC where it destroys a whole star system.

They physically explode and blow apart in the other two endings, in Control it discharges and does damage to the relay but it doesn't actually blow apart being to some degree still intact but not functional.

Okay, yeah, sorry. I was mistaken. I could have sworn they all blew up in each ending though. My appologies. Didn't starchild say that all the relays would be destroyed no matter what you do?

Doesnt matter they dont work in the end. That has many people mad... Not me cause I think it makes sense since they were invented by the reapers to be a trap.Silent Rogue wrote...

Yes cause the traps are no longer needed....Time for Organics to sink or swim...bFootball wrote...
The starchild clearly states that the energy released from the explosion (whichever colour) will destroy the mass relays.
