I play ME for the gameplay, not for the story.
Not judging - but that's the reason why you like it and others don't. I never played Mass Effect for the gameplay.

There's no Joker watching in horror as EDI is obliterated. The game forces the player to commit genocide, but fails to capture the despicable nature of the act.
Spot on, Il Divo. In fact, Joker leaves the Normandy "grinnin' like an idiot," with or without EDI.

Because it is 2 months old now.
What? Do you think if it isn't stickied people will forget about it?

Not sure how age makes a difference in whether it should be stickied or not. The EC is the most important topic currently being discussed about Mass Effect. It's certainly more important than the "shoe design" thread.
Unless, of course, you're hoping it will fall off the front page...in which case I could understand wanting to unsticky it.
But if the goal of a sticky thread is to make a particular topic very easy to find so moderators don't have to go around closing duplicate topics, wouldn't keeping this thread stickied at the top be the way to go?

This thread gets enough traffic that it would always be on the first page anyway. It's not that hard to keep track of it.

Yeah, this. It isn't up to me to keep it on the front page. And I believe there are enough people that it'll probably stay relevant. Just guessing.

Not really the point. If the thread is always going to be on the first page, as you say, then what does the age of the thread have to do with whether it is stickied or not?
Is the Extended Cut the most important topic currently Mass Effect discussion related? If the answer to that is yes, then the age of the thread is irrelevant to where it should be placed. There is no compelling reason to unsticky it.

I thought it isn't stickied anymore because there will be a new stickied topic about a release date announcment for EC this week or something. :/

Are there going to be more/different endings or ending DLCs in the future?
No. BioWare strongly believes in the team's artistic vision for the end of the Mass Effect franchise.

I hate the way they keep repeating artistic vision and "are we happy with the endings hell yes". They will not be happy with money they lose. I saw dr Ray Muzyka on tv at E3 he talked about the old republic for maybe five minutes and jumped off stage. He didnt seem comfortable out there, and did not get much applause.
More like crickets chirpping.
