Please. Just don't.

The only thing worse than the pathetic ending in ME3 would be an extended version of it- a sparkling child going into even greater detail about why genocide is the best thing ever. I'm all for artistic vision, but that ending was bad art. And I really don't think that you're bad artists. 

I don't want to dictate what the ending should be, just please replace the one that is there. I get the feeling that if you don't, the collective nerd rage will punch a hole in the sun.
