There are a bunch of great Kickstart projects much more deserving of the money you would have spent on Bioware.

I recommend taking a look if you want a return to games where artistic vision wasn't just an excuse for the game sucking.

Well, its official. Bioware are now smug, "artistic vision" bosh'tets in my mind. When you try to defend or "clarify" something as bad as this ending with just some cutscenes. You've lost me Bioware. Abandon Ship! Next Sci-Fi destination for me: Halo 4. I know have more trust in 343 Industries then Bioware.

Guess I'll just get my closure here: shannon.users.sonic.net/masseffect/

At least the above offers decent closure that I can deal with.  I don't have much faith in Bioware putting out a better epilogue than the above.

Better than actual ending, no doubts about that.

Unless this DLC surprises me, I'm done with Bioware and EA.

This is more than I honestly expected. The important thing is that it's free. It may equate to lower quality, but how mad would you all be if Bioware had the gall to actually charge for this?

No one was going to win this mess completely; both Bioware and the fans were going to make some compromises. Let's wait and see what the content actually is before we become either ecstatic or enraged

Are there going to be more/different endings or ending DLCs in the future?

  • No. BioWare strongly believes in the team’s artistic vision for the end of this arc of the Mass Effect franchise. The extended cut DLC will expand on the existing endings, but no further ending DLC is planned.

Well.............this sucks.

So tired of that word -.-

This clarification better expand on the "Shepard lives" scene. If they keep it as that fail Easter egg, then nothing was fixed or clarified.

There we go t hen. No need to keep the game out on the desk. It is done.

Artisitic Integrity is what they will hold on to. We are wiser for the future.

How much money did you all waste on the retake movement? I'm just curious, because I know it was taking donations. I hope it was a lot, that would crack me right up.

Bioware is doing the right thing; the irrational complainers were set aside and the constructive people seeking closure were validated.

What is BioWare adding to the ending with the Extended Cut DLC?

  • BioWare will expanding on the ending to Mass Effect 3 by creating additional cinematics and epilogue scenes to the existing ending sequences. The goal of these new scenes is to provide additional clarity and closure to Mass Effect 3.

How do you add more clarity to colours ? Brightness ?

Gotta be something really awesome to really change my mind that this is still not what we had been asking, but multiple endings really based on our gaming experience, and not an A, B, C colorful ending..

Considering the timeframe they have put on it my guess is that you get to see what happened to all those people that you interacted with. How the Asari, Krogan, Salarians, Turians' situation is after the whole ending. What happened to your crew mates, and ending to the story of all the characters you've encountered basically.

Hoookay. I give up. No more line-handlers for me. I'll check in every now and then to see if anything's new but I'm done with this. Will I download it? Yeah, mostly because it's free. Will it disappoint me? Probably. Whatever. Trying to fix this is like arguing with a moron, no matter how valid your logic, it won't matter because you're arguing with a moron.

my feeling exactly.

It's not your story or game. Either like what your givin or leave.

Depending on who/if you romanced, part of the cinematics should cut forward abit and show Ash or Liara pregnant :)

Ash has to get a second job on the side at a department store for diaper money. Shop smart...

Shop S-Mart!!!!

Awesome what you did there!

To say it with Jokers words: "Hey, Commander, y'know I had my doubts about the Bioware, but after weeks of ignoring your warning, they're finally willing to step up and tell us they just can't help."

you didnt even saw it. omg!! complain after you see it. maybe it wont turn out as bad as you think... just give them a chance o.o and if you wont, its your problem. they dont care if they loose few thousands of fans. if game looks promising, ppl will buy it. hell, a lot of ppl even dont care which company made the game, they just play a game because they like it.

i will repeat myself: give them a chance.. for ur own good :-)

Dont care about their "closure", there are alot of fanmade stuff.
Infact if they only add scene after normandy crash and change nothing before the crash, then it's even worse than the current one as it breaks the speculation
