Odds are if you join a Geth White match with multiple snipers you have found a farm group. Quick and easy is how its done.

You may think its cute watching all the mobs on the screen do the stankyleg every time you faceroll mouse1 but you are nothing more than a hindrance.

Save your toys for bronze matches where they belong. A decent unhindered sniper with a Valiant/BW can drop 2-3 non elites per cycle. Falcon spam != unhindered.

As much as I try to give bad spec/loadouts the benefit of the doubt and typically try to limit my kicks in the lobby I find myself becoming much more particular about who I will queue with. I find myself becoming more of an elitist after every headache of a match like this mainly because I am tired of wasting 20-30 minutes dealing with stupidity. I would expect this sort of nonsense to be limited to silver and below but sadly that is not the case.

I would love to see some sort of barrier to entry implemented for gold difficulty. Maybe a test or gearcheck or something to mitigate the level of derptitude that many of us try to escape by running golds.

I nominate this thread for a sticky.

People need to know....knowing is half the battle.

waaaaaaaaah

Seriously though, can't adjust your aim for stagger? Not the falcon user's fault.

So everyone else should use only loadouts that help the sniper gods get kills? Let me go get my waders, it is getting deep in here.

And you tried to self-nominate for a sticky?

You can't be serious. This is just a plea for attention. Here is your food Mr. Troll.

I bring my Falcon alongside my Valiant. The Valiant is for taking care of opponents at a distance, the Falcon is for any "just in case" scenarios where those three snipers aren't nearly as pro as they think they are and I actually need to do some crowd control- or if enemies get too close, which is really a similar case.

In all, kicking is obviously your choice. If I'm trying to raise a Biotic team for a Reaper run, I'll kick the guy dragging heavy guns into the fight, too. But bringing the elitism here and making a big deal out of it is just showing off both your cheeks- it's not a bad weapon, and it doesn't signify a bad player. Go buy a mic and make a vocal request of the player if it bugs you so much.

Geth White lobbies are where you find all the terrible players. Farming lobbies are for those who consider gold challenging in any way. A good team farms any situation. While I do believe the caliber of players on gold is less and less every day, it at least gives gold some sort of challenge.

In summary OP, deal with it.

So I guess you wouldn't want my vanguard shockwave/falcon on your gold team ? It's your loss really.

Maybe you should wait half a second before you fire. Geth stagger animations are, like, super predictable. If you know how to accommodate a falcon it is actually incredibly useful for keeping hunters far away and softened up enough to insta-kill with TC=>drain=>shot.

The only thing about it that's annoying is the screen shake, but that's fairly easily remedied by just standing somewhere else.

Falcon is goo for staggering when you're getting overhelmed.. it helps get space that the snipers MIGHT NEED.

And how would you test new builds/loadout in gold?
Just keep kicking them if you don't want to let them test during your farm run.

<_< Please make a feature where I don't have to click more then once per game and the rest is all automatic for my type of gameplay please.

Why don't you also petition for Bioware to change all playable classes and weapons to "sniper/infiltrator-friendly".
You know, skills such as Fetch Towel and Sit Quietly in the Corner will come in super handy for those endless Gold farming runs.
Exaggerate much?

interestingly enough i have been thinking often about some kind of entrance exam for gold as well. wishful thinking obviously, but it would definitely help eliminate the moochers that have no place in gold. Sure the animations are predictable but i get what OP is saying, it messes up your flow and it does ultimately slow down your headshot rate.

And isn't the falcon bugged anyway? people shouldn't be using that thing period let alone in gold.

This is somebody who can only do gold by merit of exploiting the easiest possible combination of map, enemies, and team builds.

Turian Sentinel with Disrupter Falcon > Your sniper

The amount of Geth you can lock down with this set up is insane. You will also be doing enough damage to score in the 120k range.

You should kick all biotic users too, since explosions shake the screen. Just run infil x3 and salarian engy on firebase white until you have all the imaginary lootz.

The problem with this argument is that an Asari Adept (or better yet, a Drell/Asari team) can keep mobs more or less stagger-locked as well, but deals a ton more damage.  The result is that the Falcon is a sub-optimal choice for that role.

No, it's really not.  If you're holding a gun, there is literally nothing more irritating than some nitwit shaking your screen with a Shockwave that deals no damage.  I'm fine with biotics users that actually advance the goal of finishing, but not those that insist on bringing suboptimal, gimped damage builds that unnecessarily extend the match by several minutes.

The only defensible Falcon build carries Disruptor Ammo on a Turian Sentinel to simultaneously land multiple Tech Bursts with Overload.

Absolutely. There are so many viable builds and character combinations on Gold that I can hardly (well not hardly given the general competence level of the internets) believe people are trying to defend the use of a spammy low damage weapon in a match with three snipers. Said Turian bit it when I moved to a different spot after a wave finished because he could not in fact hold his own. A single Geth Prime was enough to eat his lunch. Crowd control is only effective when stuff eventually dies. Generally stuff that isn't one of the players.

class Synergy is key. Adepts are amazing and when you are sniping (which I do when I am not adepting/sentineling/engineering or vanguarding) and it is easy to work around biotic explosions even with Adept pairs. To be so ignorant as to choose a spec/loadout that does not synergize with the other three players proves you belong in the scrub leagues.

Also, the fact that you're talking about "quick and efficient farming" and that you're using the sniper set-up has me more than a little skeptic about what sort of farming you're up to.

If you're innocent, then you can just ignore this post. If you're not.. Oho, man, they gon' ban yew.

get more friends or don't play with randoms with falcons, problem solved.

but if you "farm" and there's an SI, wich uses ED (stagger) when you wanne headshot, you gonna rage to, do you miss or do you adjust your shot and finish the job?
i see no difference, learn to adapt to other people or stick to your other snipers.

and really, "a gold entry exame?" that's a joke right? right ... ?
