Are you for real?
I mean, I hate the falcon. I really do.
But what you're saying is just pure, epic, amazing sh*tload of f*cking crap...
You're the kind of guy who will yell insults at your teammates if they don't do exactly what you are ordering them right?
No, maybe ill try it though if you think it will help.
For anyone who believes that Falcon fire in any way aids in landing headshots when you have 2.5 seconds to land a power and 3 headshots (to get stealth damage bonus with Valiant on all 3) you are deluded. In the particular situation I mentioned there were 3 snipers (2 running Valiants) all being burdened by the lolboomdumptruck.
Mob movement is predictable to an extent, less so when they are hopping all over the place and reeling back from explosions every second or so. Power spam is sometimes predictable, biotics are generally slow enough to work around. Chain overloads (oh yes, overloads) and Falcon spam are quick enough and unpredictable enough however to turn headshots (up to 3 guaranteed kills per cycle) in that short period of time into misses. If the Falcon user was responsible for enough kills to make up the difference it would be acceptable...but that was not the case.
The problem here is you can reduce fire rate to secure two easy headshots per cycle reducing killrate by up to 1/3. and the Falcon still does garbage damage and results in partially damaged mobs which will just be headshotted next Infiltrator cycle. Same goes for Elites, because in this particular situation the Infiltrator will be the one killing them as Falcon damage is laughably bad on Elites. All a Falcon does is crowd control (unnecessary due to insane kill rate as a sniper) and slow mobs coming around a corner which further extends the mission time.
If you want to CC Phantoms run an Asari.
When I do White Geth as Infiltrator I can take either bottleneck on the bottom and clear my side without problems regardless of what comes down the pipe. Add a Falcontard and adjustments are necessary which reduce my kill rate. And since my kill rate is the only kill rate when a Falcontard is involved that is all that matters. this leads to longer matches and more chance and getting overrun.
Clearly this is difficult to comprehend for many of you. I urge you to reread it again...take it one word at a time and look up any you can't understand. Learning is FUN!
