No Party, weak storyline (in comparison to their other games), multiplayer that was all but made redundant with the arrival of the MMORPG.
I think the OP is more of a fanboi than most fanboi's, hence the disappointment.
I like to buy a game I can finish and put away (only to come back to later, and with 6 different beginnings thats certainly viable. I finished BG2 on 7 seperate occasions over the years and there was no new content other than the expansion for that game) as much as I like to buy a game that will keep me playing for the multiplayer aspect.

i feel the same way. nwn wasn't my kinda game, it just took a massive ****ter on the past achievements that bioware had accomplished. it's probrably the most dumbed down spinoff series of any game i've seen.JamesMoriarty123 wrote...

funnily enough i found Dark alliance fun, was still dissappointed by how linear it was and how only 2% of baldur's gate was there. i only played it once though.
dragon age partially returns to the previous high point of biowares fantasy RPG's.
funny to think that these guys had their career peak at their second project. ofcourse Mass Effect is equally regarded as a master piece, but i'm not too into it, still on my first run of ME1.

I'll take a wild guess. Your around the East Coast? Here in Maryland were getting pounded on by snow.

Yes I think legendary would be a good word to describe them.

Sadly I have currently too little time to make a module myself, because I am interested in creating my own adventure.

OP, you are assuming that none of the things you want will be available in DA. Have the Devs ever said they will not implement multiplayer in the future? no. The re-playability of DA is there, just as it was in NWN. Learn how to use the tool set. It isnt like everyone knew how to user the tool set from NWN. Furthermore, it is a much more powerful one than was available with NWN. The fault lies with you and your inability or refusal to learn how to do it.
It is always easier to complain though....

Stongly disagree, MMO's weren't that big back then and they weren't really that good - NWN persistant worlds were quite awesome.JamesMoriarty123 wrote...

If you haven't gotten into infinity engine mods you should maybe have one last crack at BG1 and 2 via BG Trilogy Mod. Its simply amazing. One of the best RPGs anyone will ever play.
