That's the question.

Anyone who has worked in PR or CR knows that for every person who
actively complains there are many more who stay quiet and vote with
their wallets in the future.

What EA does, and this is not unique to Bioware, is buy companies and then brand strip.

The way brand stripping works is
that you take over a company with a good brand and make products that
aren't as good as the brand.  You make lots of money by doing so until
people catch up with the fact that the company is not the one it used to
be.

This takes time, and during that time you actually make more money rather than less.

The question about how this will effect Bioware/EA will be answered with the next few games.  Bear in mind that a lot of people now believe Bioware has shipped three games which didn't live up to the Bioware brand.  DA2, ME3 and SWTOR.

For those who think that EA knows what it is doing, I will simply suggest they read EA's annual statements.  EA has not been making money for years (2006 was their last year in profit and not much profit.)
