I think i had enough... my life is getting worked up by some stupid game, really. Lurking here all day and waiting for some information about a game that clearly the developers don't care enough to be changed for the better.
I won't even make a wall of text to explain my greatest disappointment in the franchise. I think most of us need to let go and move on.
If i didn't care that much i would've probably loved the ending, but i do and i can't change what i'm feeling inside. I will wait until tomorrow to see what they say at PAX and then i will draw my final conclusion. But what's done is done and we can't keep "holding the line" forever and we won't be able to do more than we just did.
http://blog.bioware....-extended-cut/]"Are there going to be more/different endings or ending DLCs in the future?"
"-No. BioWare strongly believes in the team’s artistic vision for the end of this arc of the Mass Effect franchise. The extended cut DLC will expand on the existing endings, but no further ending DLC is planned."[/url]

BioWare doesn't care about its fans and it does not listen.
They are artistic bigots and I could care less if the company went under.
I agree, maybe we should just move on.

agreed. Though maybe it will be up to the fans to fix this somehow.

I understand your frustration, and I believe that Bioware/EA are doing this "Vague announcement just wait a little longer" thing repeatedly for the sole purpose of wearing us down.
But I for one will not give up. Nobody expected this to be easy or straightforward, many would have already accepted the overwhelming likelihood of "Defeat" when Retake+Other "Change the ending" movements started.
Do what you must.

Yup, letting it go while holding tight to my money. Bioware doesn't deserve a single cent from me from now on.
Thanks, Bioware! You're making my entertainment-spending decisions really easy!

I agree. I came to support my favorite company, my favorite game. If they don't listen to people like me, I'll just go.
This announcement was the point I lost faith in BioWare and it's the point I just don't care anymore.

That quote in the FAQ is the most disheartening thing I have read in a while. I am still cautiously pessimistic about the ending.

Yeah... Im starting to think Bioware deserves to die. I trusted them with TOR, and DA2, and ME2 (to an extent), and now ME3. I sure as hell dont trust them with this amazing extended cut bull**** they announced.

Sigh, every time someone posts this my soul dies a little. Bioware employees have been working around the clock (They have a 24 twitter account!) listening to all the garbage you have been throwing at them. They have been listening and they do care, this is a nice middle ground.

Well, we fought but sometimes you have to ask yourself if you've bleed enough holding the hill and whether or not the hill is worth it anymore.
It's been fun but it's time to leave the dead buried and move on.

The only line left to hold...is to never buy another unfinished/rushed product from EA/Bioware again.
It sucks to watch a really amazing series die under the weight of DLC and rushed production...but it looks like that is the end of ME.

I agree, Im checking out
Damage is done, they can’t fix this.I won’t play until the summer DLC comes out then I will download and look at it but it just does not have the same feel or appeal ME has had the past 5 years now.
Not going to waste time or money on this anymore.

Eh, ME3 was more or less going to be the last Bioware game I buy anyway. All this announcement did is just make the parting ways easier.

I guess no one figured that breaking the line meant the last defenders would demolish the enemy's objective.
Can't figure out why people didn't see this coming though. Hold the line, over all, was a good thing people were giving bioware a chance most who screw up that large don't get.

Probably, its best if we move on and just file a suit against Bioware for false advertising.
