See you when DA3 is release ?

DA3 is made by different people, but right now i won't buy anything else that says "BioWare" on it. If they somehow make things better i will do a 180 degree change.

see you when DA3 is released ;)

I've had mixed feelings every day since I finished this game.
Great franchise, not the way I expected it to end.

However, recent event, especially Twitter posts about the DLC made me a bit happier. Don't take it as I'm not pissed anymore, I'm just a tid bit happier by knowing that I may meet Liara once again.

It is a long time till the summer, and I'll most likely have other things occupying my spare time.

Hopefully you all are not overflowing with rage or any other emotion that makes your regular day a tid bit harder.

Cheers,
- DS

Skepticism is a fan's best friend. We're still speculating, we're still annoyed that we haven't truly finished the game yet. This forum will be buzzing until this DLC comes out. Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

Words to live every day by.

Not sure how to feel right now. Very, very skeptical of the announcement and subsequent FAQ out right now, but I said one more chance, and I will give one more chance.

What sticks out most in my mind is this. Even though Dragon Age 2 pissed me off in a lot of ways with the repetitious level design and gross linearity (for a Bioware game at least), I still played the game through 4 times, because it was still immersive enough that the player choices made differences in the story, and I wanted to see exactly how differently the game would turn out.

As it stands now, I have replayed ME3 zero times. I have 4 savegames waiting in the wings, all started from scratch in the first game, did all the sidequests in each playthroug, and all in all, put almost 300 hours into them. ME3 is not a bad game, nor a non-fun game. But as it stands now, it is a game that is just like Call of Duty: I play the singleplayer once, and then never play it again (except maybe a year or two down the road, just for something to do). Because, at the very end, it just didn't matter.

But, as I said....one more chance....

Welp, that's the last nail right there in the coffin for me buying any future ME title, and also any Bioware-made game.
Bye Bioware. Helloooo Bethesda.

Yeah, after hearing today's news I just can't see this DLC redeeming the ending. I'll check it out when it hits, but I'm off to greener pastures. I bought the CE of ME3, but I won't be spending a penny more on any DLC, unlike ME2 in which I bought every single piece you could get.

Very much looking forward to Brian Fargo's Wasteland 2!

Better to die on your feet than live on your kness.

Bioware knows what most of the fans want, they won't budge an inch, but so won't the fans. And the thing is, the fans are the ones who help Bioware make more games. From actually buying their games, to providing free advertising for their games, fans do quite a lot of work for a game developer.

Look at how Minecraft absolutely exploded. There are only so many times you can burn your fans before they get sick of it and move on to someone else. Loyalty goes both ways. Right now, it seems to be some pretty heavy one way traffic.

I think i had enough... my life is getting worked up by some stupid game, really. Lurking here all day and waiting for some information about a game that clearly the developers don't care enough to be changed for the better.
I won't even make a wall of text to explain my greatest disappointment in the franchise. I think most of us need to let go and move on.
If i didn't care that much i would've probably loved the ending, but i do and i can't change what i'm feeling inside. I will wait until tomorrow to see what they say at PAX and then i will draw my final conclusion. But what's done is done and we can't keep "holding the line" forever and we won't be able to do more than we just did.

"-No. BioWare strongly believes in the team’s artistic vision for the end of this arc of the Mass Effect franchise. The extended cut DLC will expand on the existing endings, but no further ending DLC is planned."

Everyone is just jumping the rails, instead of posting hateful comments about bioware you should take a wait and see approach, and the OP should take a break it's just a game

I certainly won't buy any other game from BIOWARE or EA, no matter what they will release.

Was it worth it?

Bioware deserves the damage being done to its reputation.  If we get the endings fixed and Bioware goes down, that is a win win in my book.  They are just a name at this point.  All that worth and prestige they once had has long been spent or expired.  And after this whole ending buisness has finally concluded, I see no reason to care what Bioware does in the future.

Since my Kingdoms of Amalur savegame is stuck in the final mission of the Dead Kel DLC and my Sentinel playthrough got purged from its talents, upgrade points and credits, I have pretty much nothing else to do than lurk here. (Both happened on the same day :( )But good luck

I'll reserve ultimate judgement until the ending changing DLC, but I'm not very optimistic. I think it's probably over between Bioware and I. It was fun while it lasted. I certainly won't be paying for any ME3 DLC unless they miraculously produce a satisfying conclusion.

I'm going to wait until the ending DLC is released before I make any final decisions.

If it's just a new coat of paint on the current ending, BioWare loses me as a customer.

If it actually makes the ending bearable (seems like a long shot), BioWare may manage to retain me, although I'm certainly not going to buy blindly from them like I once did.

I think that about sums it up for me too. I still enjoy the Mass Effect series though I pretty much stop playing right as the fleet arrives at earth.

I'll keep a watchful eye on DA 3 though I remain sceptical that Bioware can recover from the damage EA has caused to their ability to deliver a solid product at launch.

Bioware, the quality of your product will always be more important than quantity of products released. Adopt the policy of releasting a product when it's truely ready. I may dislike Blizzard but at least they have some standards.
