I decided to create a new post regarding the DLC. I am aware there is a post about this on the first page. The difference is that everyone posting there has issues towards the end of the DLC. My issue is at the beginning cutscene of the DLC which makes it unplayable.

As soon as it cuts to liara the background inside the shuttle is blacked out with only the characters floating around. Also, the dialogue is gone and all I hear is background noise. As soon as I land I can move for a few seconds. The entire map is also blacked out with only a few shrubs being actually visible. Then the game locks up and I have to force quit the program.

anyone else having this issue aswell? this is already a bad start on my fist campagin, let alone all the hype regarding how disappointing the ending is  (thanks internet)

im having the same problem, although i can still hear my players.
but like you the map is blacked out, few rocks n shrubs.
then regardless of which terminal i go to, it locks up before i see anything. its like i havent activated it when i have. ive also done other missions first and gone back and still nothing.
i stopped playing mass effect 3 on pc on release because of this bug and went about completely replaying through me1 and me2 on steam, only to come back to me3 and still the same bug exsists.

oh and when i played it on release i didnt import a character, as at that stage i had only xbox game saves.
