 I loved the Mass Effect series from day 1 and I think Mass Effect 3 was a great game. The story telling throughout Mass Effect 3 however just got progressively worse as the game went on, culminating that the shambles the ending is.


I think that the game could really have done with a new ending from Bioware, not going to happen now I don think, but that doesn't change the fact that it needs it.


I and many other people that want a new ending DO NOT want a happy ending.


The Mass Effect series does not need a happy ending.


I am tired of people assuming that I want Shepard to live and have a happy life into old age with his whole crew.


I would have liked it if Shepard could survive but only if you chose to sacrifice the life of everyone on earth or a couple of your squad mates to make it happen.


Is there anyone that can genuinely say that they thought that was a good ending to the series?


And can people stop saying all this stuff about "Artistic integrity" or what ever it is. There was nothing artistic about the ending. It was just rushed and badly planned.
