Okay, so this problem might've already been posted but i haven't been able to find it.
I bought the N7 collectors Edition which comes with the From Ashes DLC, and says that it will be downloaded atuomatically.
But it's not on my mission log or journal.
So does anyone know when i'm suppose to get the mission?

In game you should be capable of doing it right after mars and the first citadel visit there after. You need to check your in game mail on your ship to acquire the mission.
I'd also recommend checking here on the social bioware site under the following.
My Games -> Your Registered Game content.
If on the page that follows you see "From Ashes" then you indeed have it downloaded. If it's not there then it isn't.
