Ok, I'm baffled.  And rather than just continue to be baffled, I thought I'd ask -- can we make a list of all possible locations that the game will read for override?  As far as I know, there are:

C:\\My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override

C:\\My Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\modules\\Single Player\\override

C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override

C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\modules\\single player\\override

Seems simple, right?  So riddle me this, Batman.  My custom texture that I created for Pretty In Pink that makes pink trimmed underwear for the ladies now shows up all the time.  Even with all four of those locations empty.  EVEN after searching all physical hard drives for the texture!

Interestingly enough, if I put in one of my new experiments, it will override the Pretty in Pink one.  Basically, my game is now treating the pink underwear as if it is the stock texture that came with the game.Posted Image

What gives?  My brain hurts.

do you have a add-in installed that uses the texture? The .erf files don't seem to get unpacked and the dazip file structure override locations also count.

At one point I went into the source code and dug out a list of all the places the game looks for resources. I put the list up here:

The source code didn't have an easily-understandable guide to where those are all located on the hard drive, but that should give a good start at figuring out where they all go.

Thanks for that, gentlemen. The only content I have added is Collector's Edition, Blood Dragon Armor, The Edge, The Stone Prisoner, tal_storage_chest, and something I made called Blood Dragon Leather (just couldn't put my rogue in full plate ;-).

Anyway, I'll dig through the directory list above, but I can't see how that texture can be anywhere it shouldn't be after I scanned both of my hard drives. Not that I'm complaining, mind you, as I made the texture set to replace the stock undies. It's just really bizarre that now it sticks on all characters, both old and newly made!

Um is it just me or is the wiki not working? It gives me an empty page with "login required" message.

That can be a cookie problem. Delete your cookies for social.bioware.com, and try to log in again.
At least, that fixed it for me some time ago.

Comparing my folder with Bryan's list, am I correct that some of those categories (VO & Sound) are now sent to the assets folder instead of the core?

Hello A2Buddha,

Any chance you could post your files for your Blood Dragon Leather files? I've like to have one too.
