If they want to hold on to their precious artistic vision... fine.

But don't sell me that same game on the premise that my choices matter...

Yet another poll showing the ratio of people regarding the ending. each one just illustrates the ratio that had already been shown before, which should prove conclusively that the samples of these polls can be used to illustrate the attitudes of the mass of people out there.

Voted no.

But I don't agree that they MUST change their ending. I'll be fine if they would just come out and defend it. Actually state their artistic vision for the ending and how they thought it was accomplished, giving them actual credibility in using the "artistic integrity" defense.

They've already lost all good-will with me so atm I don't really care if they change the ending (the new ending would probably suck too).

Over 3200 votes, 85% "change the ending", 14% ok with clarification, 1% like it as is.

Yes, yes clearly those who dislike the ending are a small, vocal minority and most fans loved it. Clearly.

What I have found interesting in all of these polls is that if we were conducting these polls as, say, scientific or market research, we would have a "good" sample size when compared to the whole. There is currently close to 4000 responses to this poll alone. I've seen some with a great deal more than that. They all say the same thing - that over 70% of players hate/dislike the endings.

"Small, vocal minority", my ass.

I put no, just on the basis that I'm sure they won't even attempt to justify the Starkid, or even allow us to question him. I can really see this being ridiculous fairytale epilogues and nothing more..... which is far from the only thing wrong with the ending.
