It depends.
If they keep the ending 100% the same, but then offer more choices (so they make it so the 16 endings aren't all A,B,C - and they reflect our choices more) - then yes, it will be enough. I'll still think the ending is terrible (from a plot point of view). But at this point, I just think BioWare needs to live up to their promise.
They never promised us a well written ending. They did promise those other things.
[POLL] Is "clarification" DLC enough?

Hilarious, 84% vote NO (633 votes), so-called minority strikes again.
I'd ask Bioware to spin that but I know they'll just ignore it like they have everything else.
(Bioware puts fingers in ears) WE'RE LISTENING!

Absolutely not. The ending MUST be changed.

No, this is not we wanted, and who were Bioware listening to with fan feed back because I don't remember anyone wanting this.

I'm okay with the Clarification DLC, but I would love to see them do more with the ending, post-endgame gameplay, perhaps?

HELL NO

The main problem with this clarification thing is that it fractures the anti-ending group. THey're pretty much doing the least they can to win over a small section of the people against the ending, making the rest of our voices that much weaker.
It's a brilliant PR move, and I respect their strategy. But it still pisses me the hell off

It doesn't matter if you think its enough or not, its all you're getting. The question of the poll is totally moot.

No it's not enough, the ending is broken they can't fix it by adding cutscenes

Yes, finally the polls are back with a vengeance. Let all those who said they would never return be cast down from thy BSN. I voted, twice!
And there goes the validity of this poll. Vote tampering. Great.
I'll know if it's enough once I get it.:innocent:

Not going to vote, as the answers are to clear cut.
Is it enough? No, but its all we'd get and even getting that for free is a victory for us, however small. I fully expected them to charge us. We got them to do an extended edition. Is it perfect? No. Would i have wanted a different end? Yes.
But i realize its all we got and its way more than i thought we'd get in the first place. Lets wait and see. Maybe they'll add some cool Cinematics showing us how our assembled forces fight.
If they'd put as much work into it as they did in the Gametrailer they had. And maybe gleen a bit of the Suicide mission, having each of our decisions be reflected. If they do that, i'll be happy. If they don't... well it can't get worse than it is.
So lets give them some time. Honestly i am tired of beating the dead horse, and i am willing to give them a chance. Until i've seen what they've come up with, i can't make up my mind.

All extended edition says to me is 'what can we throw with minimal cost/effort' so we can say shut up already.

Quite simply because I'm not going to judge something we don't really know anything about.
They might mess it up badly, they might turn this in to something amazing.

Clarification only really means that the ending might make more "sense"
However it does not mean they will explain how our choices mattered.
I'd bet on it only explaining out the ending 20ish minutes that us lower forms can comprehend

I am little confused as to what you guys were fighting for in the first place. I don't think even you guys knew.
Thanks Bioware for the free stuff!

Even if they will show us etiology of SpaceBrat and how come it's all in his hands, this is still a major hit to ME lore ( for me, at least ) and leaves a bad scar of having Deus Ex Machina in realm where it isn't really fitting.

Voted Opition 1.
The only way Bioware can keep the current endings is to go off the indoctrination theory. This will give them the freedom to end the series and give us the vastly different endings we were promised. For ME3 I want the feeling of reward of ME2 but to a much grander scale and one that feels that I made the difference.

BioWare has some serious "clarification" to do if they mean to fill the massive plot holes, repair the inconsistencies and eliminate all the Space magic that makes the ending.
I can't possibly see how they could pull that off!
Most likely, we'll get a slightly more ploished turd of an ending...

I remind yet again that, no matter how beatiful additional CGs scenes you'll get, none of the major ending issues are going to be addressed. If you are actually ok with starkid and his logic and only need the actual scenes of Normandy's crew deserting, then the appropriate poll option is 2.

Clarification can't make the ending not awful. That's like saying "you guys aren't smart enough to understand the brilliance of our ending, here's an explanation of it, for free." **** you.
