It just depends. Will they be BioWare quality or ME3 quality? That will determine if they are good enough.

No. That's not what we asked for, ever.
Makes one wonder who were BioWare "listening" to.
They're way too busy patting eaqch other's backs because of ART and being voted the worst company in the US!
Seriously, better expect an additional pink, purple and yellow ending this time or you might end up being disappointed, once again.

The ending was worse than I imagined it to be after seeing all the spoilers about it. There is just something about experiencing it as you play the game to really give you perspective about just how messed up it was. As it is I wont play the final chapter, Cerberus Base and Earth. I may not even play the game again considering it took me an hour to get an import character to look like how she did in ME2. They couldnt even give me the right skin color. Not rushed out the doors my ass.
-Sorry, I keep spewing comments like that in almost every comment I mkae here and elsewhere. I just cant get over how this trilogy that started off with a bang just ended in such a bad way.
As for this download being enough? I voted absolutely not.
I just don’t see how a few cinematic scenes and epilog text or dialog can fix this ending. I’ll keep an open mind (and pray that its good) until I see it online since I’m not wasting my hard drive space for this thing. But with their track record of downloads I don’t have high expectations at all. Anyone remember the Alternate Appearance Packs and how they managed to mess up them AND not even finish them?
A simple download that picks up right after we see all the cinematic scenes would work. Bethesda did it just fine with Fallout 3 with Broken Steel. If you use the indoctrination theory the ending is simple to do really. It took me less time to think up my idea than to type it up. But nope, BioWare cant do that I guess.

Yeah, that's rather simple technically-wise. But that would require BioWare to admit their mistakes and dismiss the current ending as a dream sequence, which would surely hurt their "artistic integrity".

I'd say that additional dialog and closure PLUS one additional ending would be fine. An ending in which you reject the star child's claims and let the battle outside conclude to whatever end.
I believe it has been established throughout the series that the Reapers can't be defeated by conventional means. Thus, I would rather prefer an ending where Crucible just does its work and destroys the Reapers, no strings attached.
If they add the ending to reject starchild just in spite, dooming the entire galaxy to extinction in this cycle, that would make Shepard look like an ass.
Though, if combined fleets manage to destroy at least half of Reaper forces, the next cycle might actually have a chance.

But of course, it also depends on the execution, so... Wait and see, I guess.

However, I also feel it's kind of too early to start throwing stones again. Who knows, maybe the clarification will at least make the endings make sense.

I'd rather the starchild be retconned into the abyss, but...that'd be better than what it sounds like is currently planned.
