I'm not optimistic for anything else to happen, but will secretly wish that there could be an "Alternate Cut" DLC that uses the original dark energy concept for the ending. It may not be perfect and some may find it depressing but it seems alot more consistent with the series. Otherwise I hope someone could write some fanfiction or create an interactive website that creates an ending with the series' original concept.

Everyone can express their feelings that being positive or negative. You're not the one to say that.

I know and I just expressed what I feel about all the whiners. I will be calm and mature to people that deserve it, you guys don't.

Yup, I think that's the epitome of fanboying.

Personally found much love and joy and also things to criticise throughout many of the games - and I've been a loyal fan. The forums are just making me depressed, though, and I'm not crazy enough about the game right now to put up with the unpleasant and rude people - such as the guy telling me to sod off.

Also - I'm not a whiner. I'm just talking about the game, not just the bad aspects. I've always been calm, and mature, to €veryone in the forums.

Rather than be a prat to the people who don't share my opinion, like some.

I have this faint hope, thy will realize what is wrong with the ending by trying to "clarify" it, but I doubt it. Let's keep our civil pushing the line further down!

Also keep reminding them, that the loss of over 60000 players, who will also give bad press about Mass Effect to eventual newcomers is really bad business.

I'd rather be with the "whiners" then join the drones and payed EA employees. No ammount of clarification will fix the endings, they are broken.

I'd love to see how happy fanboys are when we do leave, 65k people taking their money elsewhere. If they dont think this will negativly effect the future for Bioware and the quality of their games they really are deluded.

I think you're right Angry One, but complaining at this point is counter-productive. Bioware have settled on their response, and nothing short of an act of God will get them to change their minds. Feedback on how they can make the 'Extended Cut' as good as possible (within the bounds they have set for it) is still a good idea, but unfortunately we must wait until we see what they give before we should respond.

If it turns out like you think then we can try and hold the line again or just accept that the ME3 ending will go down in infamy alongside Lost, BSG and NGE - ME deserves better but sometimes deserving won't make it so. Either way we have to wait, or Bioware will just come to the conclusion that there's no pleasing us, and therefore ignore any criticism of the 'Extended Cut' when it does come out.
