Maybe, just maybe, they're talking about future products?

No, that can't be right. You couldn't continue being a smug, self-righteous troll if that were the case.

Whenever I look at those premium spectre packs I think about buying some with points. Then I remember how bad the endings were so I don't buy any. It's easy.

I support the retake cause I really do, and will go as far as to say that if you don't want to support Mass 3 anymore by not buying any of the upcoming DLC I can dig that, but to never buy another Bioware game? That just borders on childish ranting. If I lived by that logic I'd be plum out of companies to buy games from as every sigle one has done something I didn't agree with. I've been posting on websites for years and these threats are almost always hollow. The boycotters are always the first in line to buy the next game, and don't even tell me that if Mass Effect 4 is announced for the next gen consoles that you wouldn't atleast consider buying it. Lets be real folks. I support the Retake movement because it s a constructve outlet for us to show our love and support for the series. I don't support this type of activity because this is destructive and ultimately harms the very things we love.

I understand that it may appear childish, however, I myself feel, "why should I get emotionally invested in more products made by a company that falsifies claims of there games. A,b, or c, choices matter, we're listening... Oh we won't betray your trust this time we promise. I've owned games with bad endings before I didn't complain because I wasnt told I was a co-author. It was there story and they told it. I thought mass effect was our story, mine and bioware... Yours and bioware.... The fans, and bioware. Childish... Maybe, but I guess it time to grow up, children trust everyone. I'm not a child anymore, and I don't trust bioware. Feel free to tell me I'm wrong, I'm listening. (no not really I just lied, just like others we all know. ).

I already swore off EA a long time ago. Their practice of selling half-made games for full price and then chuncking up the remainder into small "additional content" DLC/Expansion packs has long angered me (not to mention that whole Spore debacle). BioWare was the only subsidiary of EA I was willing to continue supporting, mainly because I started with BioWare back in the Baldurs Gate era and couldn't bring myself to abandon them.

I'm still not going to totally abandon them, since it's possible they could make up for this fiasco with a really awesome game in the future, but never again will they get my pre-order money. Never again will I purchase a game from them until it has been vetted by the community. Never again will they receive a dime from me until they have proven that they can still make decent games that aren't rushed and half-***ed in order to meet deadlines and sell future DLC.

Well...not much effort needed to convince me...as it seems now, I don't see the point in buying any DLC or whatever for ME3...To lengthen the pain, or what? No, thank you...

I sincerley hope, even though they'll never admit it to the public, that the Omega-DLC and all that Bullshiat won't make that much money...I really hope this...Image IPB

Since that disappointing ending I didnt even touch the game (which i intended to replay a zillion times), and didnt even play with SWTOR (though I have a 6 months subscribe). Sadly I can foresee how this DLC thingy will end.

Buying DLC? Why?

Why bother retaking Omega? Aria will just lose it when her army ends up stranded in Sol

We are dissatisfied with Bioware, we are asking people who feel the same way to do the same thing. I honestly don't want to kill Bioware, I'd like them to return to their former level of quality. I'd love to finish one of their games and enjoy it, not wonder what the hell I just played. They've proved that words simply aren't enough, so we are trying to change how they do business by affecting said business. ME3 is a lost cause at this point, but there might be hope for Bioware's future. So I'll hold my damn wallet.

Oh, and I'll be honest. I'd rather see Bioware gone rather than this pathetic charade of supbar games and insulting their fanbase. Yeah, I said it.

Maybe they are, but I still find this whole situation and "movement" idiotic especially considering that Bioware is actually handing them something instead of just ignoring them. Would you rather if they just let the ending be as it is now??
And since when has voicing your opinon been the same as trolling?? Guess, you must be troll too..

You gotta be kidding!  Why should dissatisfied customers continue to hand over their money to a business that continues to displease them?  Now who's being entitled?

You guys need to start leaving then if you're not going to buy or play bioware games. Its pointless to stay here and ruin it for the real fans.

I can respect that you feel wronged as I do aswell, we're not enemies here. I guess I'm jus a bit more of an opimist. I try to look at the reason why Bioware created this ending and handled it the way they have. Instead of rageing out and saying I'm gonna cross my arms and never buy another Bioware game I think what if they did it this way to set up the next story and wait to see if such a boycott is actually warranted. If they have a clear story arch planned (which given certain quotes seems to be a possibility) then altering this ending to much would mess with there plans for the future. Who knows and thats why I don't like the idea of knee jerk boycotts. They are almsot always based on whats been done in the present but have no way of basing them on what will come. Mass 3's ending may be a turd, but it might only be part of the story to come. We simply don't know.

I don't personally think "Bioware" is to blame. I think whoever made the decision on the crappy ending needs to be blamed. Therefore, I will buy BioWare games. But I will not buy anything if they are the same producers or writing staff.

Not buying future products or non-free dlc when we are dissatisfied with a current product is not childish, and is not sabotage. It is simply acting as consumer should. Let me make this simple. I purchased and was excited for Bioware games in the past. As the quality of those games met or exceeded my expectations, I continued purchasing Bioware games. I even gave them a couple mulligans (witch hunt, DA2). Now they have exhausted my consumer goodwill, and have gone from "must-buy" to "must-avoid". If you are too childish to understand how money works, then please continue to comment on how childish consumerism is, and how adults really act.

Just something to keep in mind, this is how capitalism works. You can't force people to buy products they are not satisfied with. Just because BioWare releases free DLC doesn't automatically entitle them to anyone's money. They made the business decision and spent the resources. If someone is still not satisfied with the product (ME3), then they are free to move on.
