They should just start to make story-driven shooters. They're good at that these days.

RPG's? Not that good. These sarcastic bashers seem like shooterboys to me.

Not buying future products or non-free dlc when we are dissatisfied with a current product is not childish, and is not sabotage. It is simply acting as consumer should. Let me make this simple. I purchased and was excited for Bioware games in the past. As the quality of those games met or exceeded my expectations, I continued purchasing Bioware games. I even gave them a couple mulligans (witch hunt, DA2). Now they have exhausted my consumer goodwill, and have gone from "must-buy" to "must-avoid". If you are too childish to understand how money works, then please continue to comment on how childish consumerism is, and how adults really act.

If the DLC has already been released and the content was still crap, then I would understand your sentiment. But so far it hasn´t been released, only announced.
So, wouldn´t it be more wise to brace yourself with patience and see what the new content is all about before starting a new movement against Bioware??

If you put sprinkles on a turd, and explain the origin of a turd, is it still a turd? :o

Its really sad because I will spend money on almost anything at a drop of the hat. I actually hate the endings so much that I don't want to spend money on bioware products. I actually spent MORE money to get myself a Jacket that had the N7 stripe on it from another store that just happened to use the stripe instead of giving bioware money by buying their sweatshirt. That is how much I hate the endings and love the mass effect universe.

I never played the original Dragon Age, but I PRE-ORDERED Dragon Age 2 because BioWare made it. I will no longer do that with any BioWare game. I will intentionally not support BioWare games if things with ME3 don't come to fruition as they initially should have (check my sig).

BioWare is lost to me. And I know they don't care very much, because now they have the attention of the CoD crowd, and as long as they make $, they will not really care about what we ask for. Though, at least, they are giving us something, even though it's not exactly what we want.

Yes, I know I am ranting a bit and being dramatic, but, coping...

So... screw me BioWare? No, screw you.

Is it just me or does it seem like the biggest problem will remain intact?

"The lack of choice in a choice-driven story"

Unless this new DLC puts some extreme SpaceMagic to work and magically gives us choices in the final moments, Im forever disappointed

This topic, it blows my mind.
This has gone too far. You're now sabotaging this company.

Stop being such overzealous fanatics. Seriously, 'yall have lost track of what you're fighting for. You've stopped being sensible.

Voicing displeasure with our wallets is all we have. It is also, in fact, the most effective way to have our voice heard.

Actually, review bombing and such is probably more sabotaging than anything. Not buying Bioware products is the sensible option.

That is the next step. And you have to remind EA/Bioware on their next product release that you are not purchasing it. One will need to ensure that EA/Bioware is aware of the lack of sales opportunities.

I have already opted out of the DA series prior to DA2 because it was clearly not meeting customer needs. ME is now on that list. Bioware itself is now suspect there appears to be a trend emerging. I will certainly not buy anything that is associated with Mr Hudson again as he clearly puts his own pride above meeting his promises to the paying customer base (I mean, honestly, how many press announcements have come out now that said 'we are so proud of our work. No, we're not going to change anything for the customers').

Put your pride above the customer, lose the customer.

Not a single dolar for ME stuff till this ending DLC comes (wich is crap, i don't want clarification, i want a new ending).

New multiplayer maps? **** no! I'm not even playing it anyway.
New Weapons and armors and visuals for your team? Don't even start this! No way!
New history DLC, like Retake Omega? No, just no. The ending DLC first.

I'm not even holding the wallet, thet wallet already left the room, is in a safe.

Guys... You know EA's the real problem here, right? Not BioWare? Support BioWare, but at least give EA the finger. They've had it coming for a while. EA does stuff like this to kill their competition. BioWares popularity makes them competition. So. I present you with this. Instead of the whole RetakeME3, I propose you shift your focus to RetakeBioWare.

You can hold your wallets all you want, but you'd still be killing BioWare in the process.

Pretty much this.

If the Extended ending is still bad, I'll be doing the single most detrimental thing a consumer can do to a video game company:  sell my copies of Mass Effect.  When you do that, Bioware loses two customers: you in the future, and the guy who just bought your copy of the game instead of a new one.

My issue with the announced DLC isn't the announced DLC itself - after all, I don't have it and don't have a clue what's in it. BioWare/EA aren't being clear (as usual).

My biggest issue right now is the lack of clarity, lack of apology for selling us **** painted gold, and the really arsey way the FAQs are written.

Myself and a great deal of other consumers who have not made their voices heard on this forum have already decided this. (Everyone I talk to hates the ending and by everyone I don't mean one or two people, I mean DOZENS.)

We are adults and responsible consumers, not juveniles with impulse control issues.

My only request is that we shouldn't by anything EA either. I had banned them before they bought BW and kept buying BW because it was BW.

Mistake.

You guys need to start leaving then if you're not going to buy or play bioware games. Its pointless to stay here and ruin it for the real fans.

You don't like it?  Then don't read it.  Create your own thread about how only 'real' BioWare fans deserve to be here.
