Well, I told myself I'd hold off until they made an official announcement to see whether or not they actually understood what was wrong with the ending and whether or not they were going to fix it before I overreacted.

Agreed. Waiting for this DLC before I give Bioware another dime. And if I'm not satisfied with the extended cut ending I'll continue to do so

Edit: I never gave EA a dime before they merged with Bioware for the record. Hate them and their business practices already, and I try to never use the word "hate" lightly.

I'm a little hesitant to point out the irony and hypocrisy of using BioWare's website to, essentially, boycott BioWare.  It's like the Occupy Wallstreet thing.  Protest the 1% while tweeting and posting to Facebook on your iPhone or Droid.

I agree with the intent, just... um... yeah.

I'm not purchasing anything from EA/BioWare until the extended cut is released and can be evaluated. I'm also not going to invest in anything related to any EA franchise until that time.

I will reevaluate this position only once the extended cut is available or at least described in sufficient detail to determine if the changes are sufficient.
