The bad thing is that I was still hoping that BW would prove that my return was foolish. Silly me.

But please be adults about this, stick to your guns! Be consistent. Don´t come crawling back to EA when the next PR trailer hits. You need to send a clear message.
I personally like their current games, even more then the old ones, therefore I will continue to buy them.
But, maybe i am in a minority and most fans hate the current direction Bioware has taken?
If so, the only way Bioware will notice and change is if you stop buying products you think is bad or unfinished.

Biowares the scapegoat, they are the front line for the corporate overmasters known as EA, denying bioware money will only serve to stop bioware, the true villian will continue to profit from the community

I always was voting with my wallet. That is what Holding the Line was for me. It was never about complaining. It was about telling Bioware to listen to their fans or lose them. Nothing has changed now, except I've got a new sig.
Hold The Wallet is about a blanket boycott of all things EA and Bioware, not simply voting with your wallet.

I don't see anything wrong with just going back to "Hold the Line!" because at least then, we had a mission statement - and Bioware is familiar with the Retake movement. Why do we have to start a new group to accomplish the same thing? Or is this even the mission statement, here?

Here's the thing: I would join, if there was an actual mission statement. As it stands, you're saying hold your wallet indefinitely... for what? If Bioware is to take any group seriously, they need to know what it is they want. Do we want closure in the endings? Do we want a happy ending? Do we want a free pony? What is it?

The movement just started dude, LOL
Of course there won't be a mission statement just yet, give it a little time. I mean, it's less than a day old right now, you can't seriously be expecting a full fledged, massive scale movement with a website and full direction just yet.

they already know what the fans expect, we have made it painfully obvious for a while this is just a natural progression of the movement.movieguyabw wrote...

yeah i already made the decision to boycott all EA products after finishing ME3.i'm concerned about the timing of this announcement, because it is no coincidence that they announced the dlc just before PAX so they already have the "we're working on it " answer ready to deflect any questions. also on the part of EA it comes right after they have been voted worst company in america on the consumerist. the most troubling thing is that this dlc can be used to undermind any more valid complaints fans have regarding the ending and the new dlc, especially when it comes to the public perception of upset fans. EA has given themselves the perfect "well we gave you what you wanted and if you still don't like it you're just entitled, whinny, etc....." defense.
In the eyes of the general public, maybe, but not in the eyes of gamers.
Guess which of those groups is more important to their bottom line?
