As I stated in the transcript thread - I'll take whatever free things they give me with the product I've already bought.

I will still download a new free mp dlc and that infamous "extended cut".  But only because it's free. Not a penny for them.

exactly - free stuff is fine, but damned if they're getting any more cash from me at this time

This is a very simple concept that a lot of people just don't (or choose not to) understand. If you're not happy with the quality of a product or the business practices of the company who creates the product, don't buy any more of their merchandise. Im refering to both EA and BioWare here.

Ive always found it interesting that people will carp on and on about one EA product, then proceed to go gleefully purchace a different EA product and then wonder why nothing ever changes...

Silly.

Support this group. It's stance towards people is not as hardline as many here believe, They are open to ideas and won't flame your post simply because of ideological disagreements.

This is an important time, stand together and ensure that bioware does indeed do a good job with the extended cut, and be prepared to let them know exactly how you feel if they don't.

Hold the wallet.

Wow. Glad so many people like the banner. It was just a prototype but if you all like it, lol.

If there are any other requests, perhaps Trixie could entertain them. Maybe.

The main issue with the Retake movement is namely, ironically or not, its name.  Retake implies that you are taking back something.  Meaning that whaever you are retaking belonged to you in the first place.  While I do feel a sense of ownership (I did purchase all of the games), Mass Effect doesnt belong to any of us.  It belongs to its creators.  Its a PR and Branding problem that hits most intelligent people the second they see the movement and the name.

Well there's little confusion to be had with withholding our wallets.

Anybody else utterly amused at the fact that they answered almost nothing about anything relevant. Really so after all this blowback and fan outrage, their answer to this is to tell us that Tali is racist and telling us how many conversations take place on-board the Normandy.

Anyone else depressed by that? I wasn't expecting much but damn that was just brutal.

Ok I may be too harsh the Citadel question was the only decent information we received and even that was pretty vague. They pretty much shot themselves in both feet and in both kneecaps with this so called "discussion"

Here we go again.

Its funny because most of you aren't committing to a damn thing. you will be here when the free DLC launches, and will likely invest in other bioware products. this is just another attempt at blackmailing bioware into giving in to your demands.

I for one will invest in future Bioware releases. because In the ones I have already are not only very good quality in gaming they are in story too.

I didnt like the re using of areas in DA 2, or the changes to the combat (which were not really that different then DA:O, they just had less abilities on the most part.) the story was still great. and I enjoyed the adventure.

ME3 is amazing through and through, but the I disliked the final cut scene, I am hopeful they will make more sens of the current endings, and perhaps apply more closure to the game. especially as i know were aren't likely to get anything new to story setting post ending.

and role on Mass effect 4 or whatever their next idea for a game in the ME series i will likely buy that too, why? because I am invested, i knew the Shepards story would end and I knew I may not like it.

but if you are actually going to commit to it, then good luck with that =) your choice n all.

I can say I will be. Not a boycott yet that I haven't stuck to my guns on. There's no point it you don't stick to your guns and put your money where your mouth is.

It won't matter. It's EA that controls the wallets. They'll just simply drop ME and have Bioware develop something else. Now, not purchasing any kind of content with an EA label on it would send a message....just wait and buy it used. ;)

For me as a broke college student it is quite easy to say "Whelp going to save some money by not buying any more of their games." To get Mass Effect 3 I had to put in some extra work and when those endings showed up and then the way BW has handled the situation, I was crushed that I spent money on their product.

its about time you people started to get it. money talk, **** walks. the only way to communicate with corporations is with money. bioware isn't an independent company.

A better choice than the ending gave us.
It's good to see folk recognizing the power of their wallets, I'm a gamer and I so want the latest game/dlc, but now it's time to look at games as a product not "just a game" and the deveopers/publishes as service providers, don't provide a satisfactory service, risk losing customers, it really is that simple.

Everyone needs to be like this. They dont' see that any money bioware makes goes back to making all their games not just certain  franchises.
